Wouldn't disgree with that except for one point worthy of mention : Budget : UK businesses aren't investing since May at anywhere near before the change in Government. So we are left with the hurdle of the budget to face and then at least business will know where they stand. That could go either way so it's a gamble but I'll stick and see where it goes.

Silver - The simple answer lies in the recent re-pricing of the bond markets I think. 30yr gilt heading back to 5% and 50BP rise in yields on short duration. This is not good.

The problem isn't helped by the recent moves in the bond market... Last last two weeks has seen yields moving 50BP higher across the 10-30yr curve. That is the bond market giving it's view on the forthcoming budget and it is not going to end well in the equity space if they are correct.

Doubled my holding just before close. The market is pricing in further rapid outflows given the likely GCT hikes to be announced in the budget. The next six months might be difficult for Lion but if they get their wider market offering sorted this company is way under valued !! IF !!

Horult = the key wording is this - 'Under the Takeover Code, when a buyer acquires “control” of a target company' The simple truth is that GTE have not got a controlling stake in the company so the rule does not apply.

Source... I suppose there is perhaps some logic in a UK based company and UK based Board of Directors owning Canadian based productive assets seeing a logic in selling their Canadian interests. Especially given the UK assets are a dead duck with no hope of further investment in the current political climate. Not saying it is a good thing but there logic is there I suppose.

Sorry Joe I missed them so can't really comment. Personally I think the MMs run the book not wanting to hold much stock and move the bid around all the time looking for weak holders or over eager buyers. The volumes aren't very big considering the shares in issue so when this moves it can move fast either way I suppose.

I've been watching this closely on live trades for some time. My conclusion is that it is retail investors selling in response to the market makers moving the bid almost every trade. Yes there some 'A ' trades but it is managed by the MMs as a true penny stock; they don't want to carry stock themselves and play with the pricing on the order book more than would otherwise be the case.

This is much better..Haven't seen any large volume late reported or UT trades the past two days and that says a lot about sellers or lack thereof.

Well yesterday they late reported a big trade after hours that wasn't UT. Today should be interesting after close.

Well it looks like the market is saying F U to the brokers now ... so bloody frustrating this share!

They are certainly short of shares on the book now. That last trade was well above the ask and it was sizable
