Yup, I got in too with you. another 25k @ 20.95p a few mins ago (the refresher got me going!). I note the buy price keep going down all day... I am already 75k shares in today alone.

i am with you on this, G&G is my weak point. glad seisprocessor joined us and keep sharing his analyses and thoughts. re logs, the raw data are run through software and then the interpretation are done by a person.

On the other subject, I think this is the 2nd weekend we had some odd and laborious postings.

someone had mentioned early days were calm on this BB, I disagree (depends i suppose how early). Early days of IPO were mad here, people going on about market cap of $30B and bullies were running amok to anyone who doesnt toe to their lies.

Be patient chaps. DM has a lot to prepare and plan for the knowns, known unknowns and unknowns unknowns.

I quite like the calm before a big operations, and very happy its not me this time executing it. popcorn, beer time is wonderfully bliss... ps: i got myself 0.25m3 He tank delivered to home and some balloons to go with the popcorn.

There has been a lot of info and analyses posted here on this BB (including timeline and target changes) but I appreciate its easy to feel lost as info is everywhere (and not easy to scan through the mountain of posts here). We could perhaps do something to help new incomers or the ones who park cash earlier and only now coming back to check whats happened. Those searching for info, can I suggest click on Dai2belts profile and search his posts and responses to it (very good) as a first pass. I will try and put something together in a few days to simplify it.

Anyhow, to repeat what I posted before re drill and patience:
Just bear in mind there is quite a lot to prepare pre drilling - I would rather they take time now and prepare properly, go back through their docs and targets a thousand times over, plan then plan again and again especially contingency strategies (this is where things can really screw up if on a back foot), etc rather than having problems during drilling and reacting poorly. Days, or a week or two is trivial in the scheme of things.

Maldives... you can lease them (the ones with fresh water source is ideal) before it all goes underwater in the next tens of years. house corals in the south are poor though since the tsunami in Acheh donkey years back, so look for one in the north. alternatively Argos sells a nice paddling pool and you can also buy some kiddy sands and make an island in the middle of it.

in no particular order (brain dump) although most can be remedied:
1. Since its vertical drilling, the chance of missed target is low but is always there.
2. tool or equipment failure not limited to BOP (before we get any He shows)
3. severe losses during drilling (eg hit a fault causing fluid losses) or kicks occur and not managed accordingly, hampering ops pre discovery
4. Insufficient He readings - contamination, low concentrations or He is just not there (i would eat my arm twice with ketchup if the latter occurs)
5. blowout if we accidentally hit a high pressure pocket (unlikely, low chance)
6. bore integrity failure (formation, casing, cement bond etc) causing drilling to stop before discovery

These are really non specific issues to Helium One but generally a sample of issues considered (E&P drilling), outwith of HSE / personnel related issues that would cause bottleneck or hamper / delay operations.

Worth mentioning wireline logs only penetrates / reads a few cm's into the pore space from the bore. therefore it has it uses but still an estimate when it comes to volumes calculations etc even after building models with those as input data. benchmarking is still required especially with well test info.

ps: column grade? it would have been easier to say "determine gas column and saturation height", for me at least thats to the point.

talk about luck, IAG shares just tanked >5% - my go to washing machine share to churn out a few % in quick order. I am parking a bit of cash there to earn a few % in quick order hopefully then park it here. DYOR and good luck.
