thats a very kind post and thank you for putting this out. Indeed, there are a lot of us who wanted to this to be life changing - remember its 1 of 3/4 wells to drill. A duster would mean they log and found nothing - we know there was He all along, but the formation integrity stopped HE1 from logging it and tools were getting stuck (we see that in North Sea too on producing fields).
Chin up, 3 more wells and lots of learnings and improved planning.
DM will feel down today and if he is worth his CEO mantle, this should make him even more hungry to strike a win on the remaining funded drills planned.

ST, agree. might need a bit more equipment if it requires cement, then log, perf then test. but all doable, there are a few options to address washout - this is conventional issue and resolvable with current tech and knowledge, not something new or difficult, once the issue is known.

if you recall, i posted soon moons ago that a duster - perceived or otherwise, will bring this down to 18p at fair market value looking at the potential of all the funded drill plan. sentiments as i mentioned will sway this a few p up or down against the 18p mark.

mm are making a killing this morning from those selling at a huge loss .... its not a single drill opportunity, we have 3 funded wells and learns lots from this drill. we have he confirmed in the system, concentration is increasing the deeper we drill. its not that they found nothing, its the hole formation integrity buckling. there are simple ways to address that now that they know about it. the last time any drill was done here was 40-50 years ago.

15-20% porosity for a gas system is really really good. If thats for oil, its already amazing, for gas its something else (positive).

1 of 3 /4 wells. Not a duster, just couldn't log it, so no discovery could be announced. Wellbore stability needs attention in drilling design. DM knows this now.
Onto the next 2/3 wells and could easily come back here on Tai.

yup, I got in at 4.5p in HE1 and 2.26p in ADV. Soon - SpectrumX listing to nicely round this year's big multiple gains (400% CoC targets for Apr 22 tax returns) - sorry for x-sharing.

Ps: I wouldn't worry about the rig contract for ADV, its coming. (rig companies are the same headache as floaters - FPSO etc, but once the termsheet have been agreed, its just about getting the paperwork in final form for signature, so its coming).

ps2: returns on renewables are in the single digit, so hopefully they don't venture and stick with hydrocarbons (buy Orsted shares if you are keen, pure play and the world's largest windfarm company)

Good idea to lug HE1's gain here, compounding on the wins (and all in one tax year!). at 4MM shares on ADV, I might top up a bit more just to match Seagullsfan in solidarity .. :) too far to chase ShareInvestment (TR1?)
