i suppose a simple analogy would be like drilling offshore in Winter in UKCS - its possible, a lot of pain, lots of waiting on weather, higher non productive time and just not pleasant....
or in Siberia in the summer months - swampy unpleasantness and so forth.
or monsoon season in South East Asia .... (can't see ****)
or Hurricane season in shallow water Louisiana / Texas... (a bit of an extreme analogy this one !)

Agree - The well is accessible down to 800+m, with good He shows from 70m all the way down (increasing concentration). log and test those shallower sections would be great, we don't need much, 1 bcf is equivalent to 100 bcf gas fields by revenue, and those are more than economic even offshore UKCS today. Its a "stacked reservoirs" target in Tai - its not just the big fat Karoo deep down.

Supply chain is far and beyond unlike UKCS which they can call out quickly so changing tack quickly might not be easy. I still think with the issue they faced, they are better off drilling later - get a good (oil?) rig for wider borehole with the right mud design etc, close the drill at Tai with hopefully a discovery in the shallower area(s) announced. (imagine if that happens! i can only dream). Reminded me of my own experiences developing oil fields deep in FARC region yonks back and supply chain is far away to help in times of immediate need with drills and workover, except DM don't have to deal with straying bullets and sawn off shotguns pointed to his face. lucky guy.

anyhow, as always, its my speculation, like all of us here while waiting for news. For all its worth, my view might end up down at the rathole and DM might have a smarter / different way forward. DYOR. Have a good weekend all.

Agree. I will lookout if it does drop today. My overall average is pretty low so even at 12 or 13 for 100k shares, it doesn't move my needle. I will add more if it drops to 12.

If one was to add shares based on indicators in the next few days (today, next week etc) can you give us a nudge when to add please? Ive been adding bits and pieces these last two days and wouldnt mind topping up some more. No rush on my end, just when you think its good to do so based on your charting. (Thanks in advance)

In truth, we, me, us, dont know for sure as we dont have data to make that statement that they need new rigs etc (except sentimental ones like i did, but well, its been a hellish 24 hours so apologies, promise not to do it again).
Feelings put aside, we should wait to see what DM decides with his team.

he1 and adv is not the same. by any margins. one is chasing for he and the other hc. one looks at proving a he containing basin - its now proven, then finding the reservoirs - not yet, and in contrast adv is just picking up a great low hanging fruit from a proven field that has sold a lot of oil - hence its proven. saint tropez is spot on.
for he1 investors on this bb, i see adv as my ballast to he1's higher risk play. its also the reason i have circa 4 times more share counts in adv than i have in he1.

ps - sgf, its over 5mm shares now and still adding.... chasing your 6 buddy
