I understand the results of the arbitration will be announced next month, does the fact that the SP hasn't tanked bode well? What will be the effect on the company if it has gone against PVCS? Any thoughts?

Not complaining but why have VOD the wind in their sails just now? Is it just that it is their turn? Divi on its way? - that is just too basic as we knew that anyway. India parcelled up and forgotten about? That is good news I know. Just really trying to work out a high point on knowns - is is that trying to be too clever.

Green Dragon Gas owned the whole lot and then spun GDL and GE and T off. In April / May 16 Mr Grewal took it back into private ownership with the agreement of the majority of shareholders - funny that as Mr Grewal was the major shareholder! I just hope he can do a much better job with GDL. At the moment I am trusting in luck and paddy Magintees goat. I just have a feeling it is going to come good! Have you heard that before! Yes we are all going to be Nationalised - vote Corbyn in and if it moves it will get nationalised. As usual for labour they seem to think nationalising industries is beneficial to the UK economy whereas anyone with an ounce of sense knows it is away of shooting any worthwhile business in its foot - all incentives are removed and so you develop a death spiral. However Tory Gov MUST scrap HS2 - we need greater capacity but not 10 mins off a 2 hour journey, there must be a sensible answer to this question. As for VOD it is looking positive again - I think people have moved out of BT and bolstered this sp. I hold so miss the swings in sp to benefit from changes in share price. GLA

Normally you would have been sent your voting card / proxy option card - if you hold the share certificate - this give you entitlement to enter /attend and vote, if you hold the shares with your broker you have to get something from them to say you are a share holder. I hope I am correct! I do think this is a grey area as most people now hold electronic share as it is cheaper, quicker and less hassle. We all know that one day when old and senile our bank accounts and share accounts will just end up in cyber space and someone will grab them without anyone knowing. Interesting times ahead. However even share certificates go walk about - as i am trying to sort out a couple of my late mothers at the moment £100 to get not many shares.

An unusually high number of trades today, any ideas why? Have I missed something? Down 6% but most trades posted as buys. I had hoped this would stay above 20p but it continues to slip, The 20p mark was 'my confidence' level, so below that!!

You would have to think the 229K was a buy? Perhaps all is not lost for the patient ones who are left! GL all. I guess the SP will drift with no news and tick up as the news appears - I know that is stating the obvious but GDL has not been conventional up to now.

Looking at the 2016 Financial diary the final results for 2015 were due on the 17th of March 2016 so we should soon be getting the info for 2016 any day and that means an RNS re.that, so arbitration update might be included??

Interesting reports coming out of the China State meting that they want to reduce the air pollution ie make the skies blue again. They appear to have stated that they want to move away from coal fired power production. Although they didn't state a move specifically to gas fired plants they must be in the equation. GDL must benefit from this decision, for now it remains under the radar for lots of investors. Time will alter that - I hope! GDL remains a speculative investment. but starting to look like a less negative black hole for your money. Good luck to the long suffering.

Shares down 5.3 % today, tree shake or disappointment? I thought the RNS was / is positive so am surprised at the fall therefore I am going for tree shake. Sticking with the company (at a paper loss) though as I remain mid term positive. Could buy to bring average down or throw good money after bad! Yes lots of us are! It is difficult to sort the buys from the sells on this board though. However prices do not rise without buyers, so good news I guess. My take is that people are buying on 'hope' they see a company that has a future with more than one string to its bow and the 'promise' of work from GDG to underpin the price (I use promise very guardedly from past GDL experience!) The next RNS that is factual about work completed and firm orders will be the significant one. Perhaps worth another little buy? It would at least bring my average price down!! Good luck all.

Looking at the RNS it can be viewed as not so bad! Ok we know oil prices have been at rock bottom and so who in China is looking at expanding gas production - no one. India nearly the same. So Mr Randeep has woken up to the fact that there other ways to diversify the companies assets by looking for geothermal and workover work. Yes we know he should have looked at these options much earlier but he didn't think of them! That is the only 'little' worry. Ok the challenge for us is to suggest what else you could use these rigs for and tell Mr Randeep asap. I suspect work will come through quite quickly from China as gas is the way forward for them from now on to try and get pollution levels down. So all in all this share is a hold at this level and a buy if it drops a bit more. Ok not instant money / gains but it should come good. I think the 'if' is now slightly smaller.

Where is the 'news tomorrow' coming from? Routine news or RNS? Any leaks about content?

I ask the same Q - Orbis sell mega nos of shares and the SP goes up 12.5 %. Tomorrow will be interesting either the SP will motor north now free of Orbis shackles or we crash if Orbis see it as a lost cause. Any thoughts before the 8-0 am opening bell when presumably we will see the answer!! GL to the patient few - me included!

thanks for the update mannan I don't know where you found the information but your research is fist class, I have held these shares for a long time - through bad times and even worse ones! Lets hope this gets us going with work that the company deserves after all their in house developments. At times I thought we were going to fold, then I thought we would be taken over for no money at all. I thought the Robinsons with a foot in the C21 and Trakm8 camps were going to be involved with a C21 robbery. Interesting times, long term holders deserve a good return.

Good news. An amicable arbitration agreement would be a good way forward. PVCS would not get the maximum payout but would get a guaranteed payout and possibly staged over 12 months. Or do what jagee says and get the co to buy PVCS. This share should not drop in price from here. (famous last words!!) GL buyers and long term holders.

net cash 24 million, market cap 32 million. Not too bad as a future investment? Just showing a break even point with PVCS shares, after years of head under water. Happy that head is now not in the sand, but who knows!
