Hi how kind of you to remember me. Yes I'm feeling much happier and have been reading the speculation on where the price might end up avidly. Totally get that some are selling/taking their profits (who are recent investors) but hoping that the representation in the US now and the return of serious investors post labour day will mean that the profit taking short lived and we can see it continue to rise. The nearer we get to production the better, we just need Angola to stay 'stable' and for more of the World to understand the threat of having so much of rare earth production concentrated in China.

So pleased that I didn't have a career as a day trader as it clearly makes a lot of people deeply cynical and very miserable.

I bought in after the 'crash' Rob (way below your short call) so you don't need to worry about me.

I see these sort of investments sitting alongside my angel investing - ie. high risk with only a fraction providing reward.

Luckily i rely on neither to fund life.

Seems really strange that the news that we are on target and on budget hasn't had a positive effect on the SP.

I wonder whether there are other factors - competition advances, less focus on rare earths crisis outside China that has impacted what was a great rise?

What will restart the interest? Another client deal? Agree with others that we should be £1+ given progress and promise.

Problem for M1 Rob is that SP is higher today than when he sold and told everyone that the end was nigh. So what would he say?

No-one (in their right mind) thought it was a new paradigm - just an option to make hay whilst the sun shone.

Why would you even think of investing in the category if you are looking for a business that can justify its SP in tangible assets?

FMCG as an eg would not have given investors the 20/30/40% rises that were enjoyed over the past 3 months here. If you are lucky, most categories might give you 10% in a year.

If you think the ride is over on SWC, then surely you just pivot to another more predictable category? Why sit here telling everyone that it doesn't make sense - we know it but then........

Buying Nike trainers vs Sainsbury's own brand doesn't make sense either..............but we accept the brand/intangible element inflates the price.

Agreed. Big statements about a bloodbath if bitcoin doesn't recover ........interesting given its 16% up on the month given changes in US etc

Same with other statements from same crowd at end of last week about how SWC will be at 200 soon - weirdly it was at 270 yesterday.

Still good to know that given their resolve that they have lost out on some profits.

Agree jogonnow which is why I'm pointing out that posters like M1 are peddling the same negative narrative.

As an eg the SP is still 45p higher than when he sold yesterday - so that was a missed opportunity if you are in short-term

Weirdly, like many shares, SWC has gone up and down over the past 3 weeks - so silly to decide its only going one way. That's how M1 missed out before!

And? shame he didn't post when it was going back up as well so that those who were out could get back in.

What i can't fathom is why your friend hasn't got better things to do than shout from the shadows as he's not investing. Do you think that everyone else needs his advice?

M1 not interested in the truth - only to depress the SP since he got out at 240p and missed the 25% increase yesterday that others of us benefitted from when it rose to 300p in the afternoon.
