As noted in last post, my sense on (early released) annual report, was that they wanted to talk about the new 'reality' for RE.

Looking at Atherley's comments on Saltend yesterday, he talked about US buying at a guaranteed price and that has 'repriced the market' - i.e. game changed.

Can we now expect to hear that Pensana has done a deal at a guaranteed price?

My sense from reading the chairman's statement was that they wanted the opportunity to talk about what has changed in recent months (since year end) .....China, the SPs of rare earths companies etc

Presumably so that the new decisions taken (no Saltend, possible NASDAQ listing) are better understood.

On Smart Punter note re: asset on balance sheet for Saltend - the point of the annual report is that it relates to the period ending June 25 so in that frame, it was presumably still relevant.

Surprises me that you aren't picking over every page to see if you can find something negative to report ;-)

Had note from my broker to say that it has been published. Think that's earlier than planned....

Supply and demand........whether the 100000 sale reported at 1137 or not, other people bought that 100k and the price went up - so not sure that we should be worried about that.

I think more likely a LTH (like me) or a newbe (who has ridden the 6 month spike) who said when it hits 160 I'm out (or maybe they had pre-set sale at that SP?) We all have a multiple that we will sell at.

Given the AGM in December, the possible NASDAQ listing and the year end on 31st October, I'm minded to stay with it a little longer and hopefully finally really benefit from believing in the team and the category.

So a new 52 week high.

Interested in the patterns yes. interested also in the email today on new seam. Most of all interested to know how the US China spat will play out on SP (not sure if drop today is coincidence or related).

Obviously Trump is going to prioritise US (or close proximity miners) ahead of Europe or Africa as it suits his narrative.

As such, PRE (which is closer to production than so many that are popping up) need to get their ducks in a row on comms and point out why we are a good investment today. There is a new COO but they are missing a good marketer/commercial person on the management team to work with Stonegate and others. US representative great but PRE not their only client. We need someone 100% focused on regular comms.

We seem to be drifting upwards each day but think we need some concrete news in order to see the jumps of August/September and get noticed agin (lots of RE noise in media)

Thanks for filling in the gaps in options/likely scenarios. Very helpful. Lets hope that some new partnerships are announced that grow the SP ahead of the consolidation. Its going to be an interesting few weeks having felt for many years (LTH) that it was like watching paint dry!

Looking at requirements for listing on NASDAQ the SP would need to be double from where it sits today. Can we assume that the conversations in the US led by Stonegate are giving the management team suffcient confidence that this will be possible in 3 months time?

Thanks for sharing. I love tech but I hate it also when you read about these 'morse code' type signalling that retail investors aren't party to. I guess that now that we know, we can watch carefully what happens next. What we really want now though is some big positive news that will move us upwards from the 120-135 range.

Thanks as always for the analysis. As you say, it looks like we will tread water until there is some new news. I was thinking that Stonegate would need at least 6 weeks from appointment to have an impact, so hopefully by end of next week we will see upward movement again.

All helpful news 'back story' as Stonegate talk to US investors. Hopefully, we will see the SP rise in September as those conversations translate into buys.
