I don't know it parkez, could you explain how it works please? Even if it were allowed under orderly market rules, why would a board elect to withhold positive price sensitive information ahead of a placing rather than get the news out, the price up and raise more money / minimise dilution - especially for themselves?

Any material information would have to be in the market ahead of a fundraise, therefore they can't be sitting on good drill results.

These guys are getting in at a low price. It's a kick in the teeth to anyone who came in at higher prices based on the JV news and hyped up podcasts.

Warrants should be at 32p to be respectable.

After salaries and corporate costs £400k buys you very little, so the reference to other projects is a smokescreen.

So nice they have to raise money for salaries at 50% of the JV valuation

The inevitable placing to pay the family salaries. Price reflects deep erosion of value since "transformational" JV. Fees to those podcasters for investor introductions? Joke. What are these projects that are to be "accelerated" and why aren't details disclosed? They'll need to be back in 6 months, balance sheet is shocking.

One thing for sure - there are no pending drill results.

There won't be a mine go-ahead decision this year, they have to find an economic deposit and for that to happen they need good drill intercepts. None of those reported in the c.18 months of this so called transformational JV.

One might infer from the lack of good drilling results (which would be reported), that the results are not good.

You do realise that the JV is dilutive, right? Demir get a 40% interest at a €25m valuation.

There's not a lot to have to interpret from the 15 May announcement parkez. They mention 1m @ 64.3 g/t three times, but don't disclose how many trenches were done, how many samples taken, any information about geology. How wide is the actual vein. What kind of rocks is it in? How was the sample actually taken? What QAQC was done? There's nothing to interpret because they are not telling you anything that has meaningful value to understand the target.

Seems like the point is being well made that the disclosure lacks the information necessary to actually understand the results, and is therefore useless for investors.

Parkez I don't believe the 1m width is only an "extract". If the breccia zone is wider, why did they not sample it? It makes no sense (and is detrimental to shareholders) if they only partially sampled or partially report a wider zone. They say it is 1m wide. It's very skinny so investors will be hoping exploration shows up more.

If you have 1m @ 6.5 g/t, but your minimum mining width is 2m, then your grade will be diluted by waste to 2m @ 3.25 g/t.

But let's say for argument's sake you use a 2m mining width as per the PEA at Clontibret, then already you are halving today's grades through dilution, which makes them even less impressive.

It's got nothing to do with minimum mining width, samples are just taken over 1m intervals. The orientation of the thing is not disclosed so we have no idea how representative these samples are.

To know the minimum mining width, you need to know the mining method, which requires a feasibility study and, for starters, a mineral resource.

Divide by 10 for today's results. 1m at 6.5 g/t. Another set of weak results having overhyped this.

They reported that the gold is amenable to biox processing but then nothing happened so presumed to be unviable 10 years ago and nothing has changed technically.

Cyanide won't get the go ahead on the island of Ireland. So perhaps the plan is to send a refractory gold concentrate to Turkey for processing there in a biox plant or POX plant. That doesn't seem viable at the current grades though, and in such a scenario there would be nothing in it for CGNR but it may explain Demir's interest in a small refractory gold project - which otherwise makes no sense.
