At the fd buying, as below if there's a big seller in the market should start moving once they are gone. No big drop after the results so bad news seems to be rightly priced in.
It's an old fashioned paper edition mate! If it is institutional it should form a level of support to the share price, capes reduced this year so if the bills get paid and they ramp up the utilisation of the rigs it should mushroom profits medium term.
Times reporting it as"on the back of a single hungry institutanil buyer" in the market report section.
Run upto results and compared to peers cheap, hopefully the shorter has to pack his bags and hopefully pace up the divi to give him some encouragement,
At some point they will be closed out if the good news keeps coming. I would imagine that now lamprell seem to be getting a grip on things they can book in orders and be confident of meeting schedules, the language used seems to be taking things back to basics rather than over reach. I'm also in pic and apr which also are targeted by shorters, maybe I am wrong on this but it seems they pick companies that also have low division as it saves them having to pay the original holder, with lam not going to pay a divi for at least another year I imagine it gives them time to play with. Does anyone have any info on the rig in Siberia and when it will be complete?
25 percent of capd business is with cey,
Me too, although I find it a bit unnerving when I'm sitting on close to 100 percent gains, not something I'm used to!
Not if you bought lower!
I can see it going to 36, but it seems to really struggle there, I emailed the company about share BuybacksI and they are currently in close period so hopefully they should kick back in next month.
What causes you concern?
Maybe with the big order book that should be coming through this year we will start to hear more, looking at 2011 there was a lot of contract wins going through this year, also with the mis acquisition the eye may have been taken off the ball, think margins were around 13 per cent in 2011, it would be good to see more of these contracts coming through and with the relationship with ndc and the fact they manufacture in the UAE we should hope for more work from there.
All on up mate, owls, lam and your coal? With the shares that you hold have you not thought of asking for a visit around the yards, if you do pop over let me know and I may be able to stretch to getting you a beer!
Apparently they have shorted +4% of the share, if they have to start reducing this it should see the price shoot higher, its a shame there is still debt for the company to pay off as a nice specail divi would have given them some focus to remove the short!
Tipped by Zak Mir at 2:55 and a instant reaction?
Another 3 million gone through, would this have been keeping the price down?
Rurelec, do you have any views as same chairman and also a company that has it difficulties (court case in April)and in the same sector?
Seems to be steadying itself, would be good to get some news of another contract to give it a little push up to the 150's where I can envisage some halving their holdings from those that bought around 80-90p.
