Other than the institutions and Peter earl how many shares are out and where can you find this information? Looking at earls holdings above he seems to have lost 8million shares, I hope he remembers where he put them!

Days get carried over and differnet companies do different things, e.g. saudi goverment get two weeks off! Only need one bank to be closed for money not to go through, whoever is buying will no doubt be dealing with various bankers. Good little rise today though. Would you expect the share price to stabilise after the(hopefully) sale of the turbines go through, I read an article where Peter earl believed the value was in the twenties and also talked of bringing "cash back to London" , would this be returned to shareholders in some way? What are the directors holdings?

Good piece in the sunday times "inside the city" today, in brief speaking about how Kennedy has been chairmen of two companies that have been sold to GE in the past and that they have an estimated 42billion sitting offshore from the US taxman, theres nothing like a bit of rumour to hopefully give a push upwards.

The company haven't informed us though? is that an internal memo? Thats one of the worrying things have they revisited figures and found they need to cut this year up until year end to meet the figures which then costs them more money next year to reemploy? is it that they have supply issues which means they will delay production and have staff still sat around, I would imagine that they forecast in less production due to ramadan which may have actually been a benefit in order to get raw product in. With regards the low paid staff it is that sometimes it is often dismissed because they cost so little individually but when you tally up???? Why is it that every delivery van in the uae always has a driver and two oppo's!!! false economies. One thing that i would also be interested is the takeover, has intigration work been done to cut costs? sites? merge office? merge supplier contracts ect or is this only happening now? Anyone have any info?

The thing that does worry me is what effect this will have on the order delivery times and also the loss of staff if they are leaving, it is not easy to replace staff in the gulf quickly there are numourous hurdles to jump through before you even get them on-site, also end of service benefit will have to be paid, i would hope that this has been provisioned for as it has accrued. Most importantly the memo indicates that this is a further round of redundancies? Rule #1 is make sure you dont have to come back for more as the pain is extended even further for the staff and therefore the company.
