Well said Tibbs,could not have put it any better myself, nice to hear that other investors here have most of Centamin in their portfolio and I am not the only one, who at times needed my head examined!!!! G.L.A.

I have been buying as well this week,keep saying I wont but it is a little like a drug that you have to do, lets hope now this IS the start of an upturn, heaven knows you have to have plenty of patience! You dont get this kind of excitement from a building society account! G.L.A.

If ever there was a need for good results this is it! I think January 15 is now etched into all our minds with everything possible crossed, if it is disappointing I fear it will push us closer into Endeavours clutching arms. The trouble is, as long term holders know we have been through disappointment many times after being fed with optimism. I really hope that this time will be different and all of us will have one big smile on our face that morning. As always I wish everyone well.

Cannot believe we are drifting down with gold staying stable at this higher price, we must be getting back to the original price that Endeavour offered. Surely there must be other companys out there that see value here at a far better price than what Endeavour do. G.L.A.

Well I am shocked as well, I think most would have expected a good rise here, just shows the normal does not apply to the stock market especially Centamin. I think it is listed in the Twilight Zone instead!!! G.L.A.

I would just like to wish all on this fantastic board a great christmas and a happy new year but most importantly a healthy one, my daughter has just recovered from a brain tumor operation (38) and the scan has shown that the great news is they managed to get it all out, so that is my best present ever. So while we are just little fish investing in this massive financial ocean it is nice to know that one voice may only be a whisper but together we can become a shout that maybe, just maybe heard and taken notice of!! I wish us all a peaceful time not only here but around the world. G.L.A.

Well another momentous week for long suffering L.T.H. Sold most other shares to increase holding here at what seemed bargain prices and still down we go, is it to make us think the rubbish deal offered now looks good! Surely it will be better to go alone with new staff that maybe just maybe with improved production figures and gold carrying on its upward journey. I really hope we dont extend and that the new management have the chance to justify their ultra handsome wages. My final words until we sink or swim. DONT EXTEND!!! G.L.A.

Why are we tolerating this kind of approach, it seems like they are trying to call all the shots as if we are desperate to merge with them, when in truth it is the other way round!! Here is an opportunity to say be totally transparent or go away!!! G.L.A.

Well must say really fed up,I too was looking forward to an upturn in our fortunes but must admit getting uneasy about the future, I too have been her for many years and never envisaged that the end game could be close. the thought that I may be forced to sell up with a poultry offer feels me with frustration that loyalty again means nothing! Lets hope the cavalry is over the hill to rescue us (in the form of another offer) Looks like it only happens in films though. Fingers crossed. G.L.A.

Just a thought IF a merger were to take place would the combine company still be listed on the L.S.E?

Thanks Rebess and Sotolo, as always nice to hear other (much wiser) views for your responses. Such a great blog, I would have been long gone if it hadnt been the sharing of interesting information and the friendly nature of all on board this somewhat frustrating journey!!

Would Endeavour have had any knowledge on the latest figures before making a bid,as I cannot believe that they would not have an insight to how things were progressing,I am also a little concerned that we are below the current offer at the moment, I have been topping up a little lately,with fingers well crossed,surely luck must change here for us L.T.H. Would be great if some other company thought we were worth a bid that would settle the nerves somewhat!. G.L.A.

How do people think this will affect us tomorrow, it seems any info takes us down.G.L.A.

Must admit I am beginning to dread looking at the sp at the end of the day, surely this is due for a turn around soon. Just hope that the reason is that the gold price is slipping, I really hope those predictions come true Mr Tibbs especially after March! G.L.A.

As I matter of interest when people say that they fear we may be bought out cheap,at what price do you consider that to be? G.L.A.

To be fair if we all knew what was going to happen next in the stock market, there wouldnt be many chatting on here, we would all be on out own yachts, cruises etc. G.L.A.

Well I am locked in now as I could not bring to sell any at those prices, proberly regret it! As the famous line goes" Tomorrow is Another Day"! Please make it good one. Well Tibbs, I always seemed to get it wrong thinking we are improving and instead of selling I buy just before the big drops,still if it wasnt for investors like me there would be no stock market. I really hope that with a change of management and improved relations with shareholders we may, just may, have good times ahead. Maybe I was destined for plastic instead of golden flip flops! I will try and keep the faith or am I just a glutton for punishment, no need to say I think I know the answer, as always wish you well.
