PeePee, we are feeling your pain over the share price, I was also here for many years and had all my gains wiped out, of course a time machine would be a great asset! After all there is nothing we can do about it now just try and forget past decisions and look forward to the future where hopefully we can pat each other on the back and say that it was a good investment decision after all. All the best.
Excellent post Tibbs, I think that sums it up perfectly, perhaps it was the wrong move being against the takeover, I cannot see how it could have been worse for us!
Well Tibbs you are sounding like me getting depressed with all this, are the golden flip flops ever going to come! It seems not. Not sure myself to call it a day on this but it is hard to sell after all this time, I must admit optamisum is getting very low now. Any lift seems to be short lived and nothing seems to make any difference and confidence is rapidly disappearing. Decisions decisions. Hope all are keeping well, that after all is the main thing.
Angelis, If there is something wrong to have varing opinions if you dont like it then ignore it! As far as I can see there is no news to report, so what harm is it to voice about other subjects. As far as I am concerned Tibbs has contributed many news articles about Centamin which have been very informative and interesting!
Tibbs, thanks for your reply, it is such a frustrating share to own, full of promise. My daughter is going through Radio Therapy at the moment as she has a brain tumour so shares are not as important as health is everything. I suppose reality kicks in to what really matters in this world. Keep well my friend.
Well Tibbs you have got me worried now, in the past I have always looked to you when feeling low about this share to get a lift! I think all long time holders have felt battered and betrayed for so long that eventually it has got to you, the problem we have no control over what is really happening and we have to believe the management will start to get it right and we maybe able to order those now very dusty golden flip flops. I wish you well and all those who have unlimited patience with this. Best regards to all.
Very sorry to hear of your health problems Archways, my daughter is in the process of having radio therapy at the moment for a brain tumour. It really does put share dealing in the shade, I wish you well and hope you will see the riches ahead, all the best to you.
The trouble with this at the moment is that no one is happy with loosing money, I am also down by many thousands and it does hurt! My enthusiasm is starting to wane, which to me is understandable. I am sure we are being played into bailing out which I personally will not do, not because I have some insider knowledge but because the Greatland story I fell in love with its promise of involvement and discovery of a world class gold find captures the imagination of untold riches, which I now confess looks for me personally a long way off. I dont think a few words from Shaun would really go amiss as he has said on numerous times he is looking to enhance share holder value, this could be done in a routine update on how things are progressing, oh well trying to keep positive. All the very best to holders, you are not alone!!
Many thanks Cowichan for all your much appreciated contribution, I was always amazed me how you got your information and all the research and time to find it! You were one of the main contributors of this great board with a host of many others. I wish you the best in your next investment. very best wishes.
