The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Global Co is Eli. CDX Agreement with Eli is separate to the lupus work with Eli which was announced a few weeks back
Filterrrrr. I assume it's p*****. Leave them out of the conversation, don't drag them into the spotlight, do not resuscitate.
Who's gonna tell him?

Deadline for conclusion is today. Deadline for finding out is tomorrow
That's always been the base case mrshoubs. I think a lot of people are/were hoping that during this current extension that allowed Eli more time in the lab, that their corporate people would overlap and draft contract at the same time. Entirely possible, but all speculation.
Oh, not to mention they have since signed up for Lupus work with us (alongside mice) and actually told us they were Global Co after being anonymous for over 2 years. Why let that information be known now if you weren't shortly going to be putting your rubber stamp on it?
Could be! But what people need to realise is that if Eli weren't extremely interested in this work and collaboration, they would have binned it months/years ago. And the most testing time at the moment, with COVID and everything else, why would they extend the agreement if it wasn't to genuinely finish their lab work so that they can get an offer on the table? These companies, whilst massive, have fixed resources like anyone else. They'll only use them on worthwhile things. We're one of those worthwhile projects and I believe that, worst case, we have CDX agreement in place before Christmas and my stocking will be more than full when that agreement gets signed.
Today or tomorrow. Deal concludes today unless there is an extension. NY is 5 hours behind. Anything that happens today can comfortably be RNS'd tomorrow and that's what I personally expect. Could be an extension, could be completion of Eli work (yet to get formal offer from Eli to license), could be completion of Eli work with financing details, could be completion of Eli work and they pull out and give all their improvements and work away after 2 years of material and expertise support.
Likely option 1/2 in my opinion.
Same price until we get news. Imo. Don't think we have legs to head through 15p at the moment. By speculation, we might well be worth more than 15p, but I doubt institutional investors would be best impressed if they were buying into a company with no revenue and only talk of a deal with a major
Early next week, yes
50k profits down, not the actual capital he put in. That boi is ok ;)
Buying >> selling so far today. Just no volume. Seems a bit overbaked by mm's
Having sold a bean...
Depends what your intentions are. If you believe the deal with Eli is imminent then this is still excellent value. If you want to sell for 4% gain then I feel there's better stocks to not buy at all time highs :)
Market cap = Number of shares x share price
Syme has a DISGUSTING amount of shares in circulation because it's been diluted to ****
Hi Groover, reasonable question
It's far more important to quantify growth with respect to the market cap rather than share price. For us to have a share price of £1, the market cap would be £430+M - because we have 430+M shares in circulation. For other shares, there can be more or less in circulation. You can have a share price of £1000 (sounds great!), but if there's only 100,000 shares in circulation then the market cap is £100M. For us to have a share price of £3 for example, we'd have a market cap of around £1.3B(3x430). Now, you need something quite special to warrant that sort of money. Definitely doable by this company... But not on the timescale most on here would be interested in i.e. in the next 2 years when we get bought out. Most people don't look further than the end of their nose, but that's the way it is.
Hope this helps
Looking forward to skipping the teens on news
Unlikely. It's not a revenue stream as such, and it'll be spent rather quickly haha
For anyone new to the board or totally disagreeing with me, or anyone else, absolutely no problem. All conjecture and here for conversation :) RNS is the only thing that speaks
