A new quote can not be any cheaper than the renewal quote for the same person with the same insurer either over the phone or on the insures own website. However new quotes via comparison websites (obviously didn’t apply to Direct Line) can be cheaper than a customers renewal with the same insurer.

They need a daily average of 0.158mcm to meet the hedge by the end of the month.

If they maintain 0.17mcm p/day to the 31st the daily average would be 0.162mcm and they would end the month with 5.0136mcm or 177.05mmscf or 1.82m therms.

The hedge covers 1.79m therms for Oct.

Well for SYME to be taken seriously they will have to have a flow of regular clients and fast. Why else is the SP at this level. It’s because the money bag punters or whatever you want to call them do not believe yet the concept can scale up enough

Let’s be honest though SYME themselves I.E AZ has demolished the SP for historically spouting rubbish and over promising. Hopefully just hopefully they can IM clients on a regular basis for decent amounts. I don’t expect them to issue an RNS everyone they get one onboard but I think for the first 5 or so they should do.
