Technicals and resistance levels etc are still based on fundamentals? Surely? If VELA announced an RNS this afternoon stating they have zero cash left then the share price would plummet. Likewise if they announced a positive RNS then the share price would go up. Either way charts would not give you that indication. No?

I suspect all the tiny trades are purely to try and manipulate the share price which has actually worked sometimes. Then higher volume trades start to appear (even though they are still low value)

The Direct Line motor brand is reported to be ready to go on A PCW within the next 6 weeks offering 3 products. Will go towards cutting costs (headcount) eventually

The media are setting the budget to be a horror story. Even if there is nothing that directly impacts insurers it could drag the market down as a whole

Not sure the market agrees with you. If the FCA decide that insurers are charging too much for paying by instalments then it will have an impact on how much insurers generate from customers who pay monthly. Surely?
