The article suggests their interest is research and that whilst they have succeeded in making a multi shell QD, there is no mention of commercialisation, which as we know can be a long process. Hopefully not much for NANo to be concerned about near term.

I agree Amerloque. I also value Nigwit’s contribution and I know he has devoted lots of time and effort into his research. I am pleased that NigWit and others who got in later have done well but those who got in earlier did not exercise inferior judgement. Had cadmium use been banned earlier later entrants may not have been invested all. This really is not about individuals, it is about how we respond to comments/views we do not agree with. All views must be respected, which is not to say that we cannot express disagreement, just that we should not do so in a disparaging way, whether using names or otherwise.

You credit yourself with more knowledge and wisdom than you perhaps deserve. I too am in profit, having averaged down throughout my investment. Most likely not as much profit as yourself but that is not a concern of mine. You can describe my observation as criticism of NANO but that does not make it a true statement.

My point is that for years, ME has led shareholders to believe success in Display was just around the corner. So far, that has not proved to be the case, and against the backdrop of more �excitement� ME sells more shares, which I think worth airing. On the other hand, I still have every one of the shares I purchased. Thankfully, we are all free to express opinion, and take or leave what we read on the board, but no one needs to your �moaning� and �same old whingers� labels. I have a soft spot for what NANO is doing and a sizeable investment but I try to stay detached. Judging by your responses, I suspect you may be too close to this one?

It is great to have confirmation (from Vortex) that NANO QD are for sale in their product but it is equally disappointing that despite MEs excitement, it has so far failed to deliver in Display. Acer�s response to Eskers message, together with MEs recent share disposal may or may not be partly behind sentiment that has dropped us 4.38% today. Whilst and there is very much more to NANO than Display, my confidence in ME has suffered a dent I am afraid.

The only caveats are price (reviewer was uncertain on price point) and the fact that not many of today's games are sufficiently advanced to get the best from this monitor. Over 1 million views for this video in a single day! These could be flying off the shelf, even at nearly 2,000 each. Now, what's happening in the world of nano particles and vertical farming?

"Sold out" due to demand. I have no idea how many are sold but thank you keen gamers no matter what your number. I imagine this news goes some way toward reassuring the doubters amongst us but please let us have something similar for NANO shares and start to make real headway.

I think we can all agree these monitors are not likely to be sold in Model T quantities but I have to agree with NigWit’s marketing perspective. I suspect that top end gamers will be drawn to the marginal advantage and perhaps other markets too such as designers who require the greatest clarity possible. So whilst I can understand why BTB does not see this as transformational, it may sell better than expected. It certainly brings credibility to QD as a leading display technology with performance that is second to none. I shall accept that for now.

I am hoping it will prove not to be as much as �2,199 but even if it is, many gamers will pay for the small competitive advantage it offers (milliseconds matter) and the general experience. It all looks very promising, so I am a little puzzled, why ME would offload 1.7m shares at this point?

You have certainly been pro NANO since arriving here NigWit. One share is not yet worth the 1.69 I first paid in August 13 but I sense it is on its way back to that level and beyond. Hopefully, others who have remained confident and averaged down throughout are also in profit (or close) but the real prize is likely 3 or more years out, when QD and nano-particles become established in both everyday and specialist applications.

BTB. It is good to hear acceptance that matters did unfold quite as you feared or envisaged. All boards need realism and challenge to bring us down to earth and you provided it this time. I cannot say I was without doubt when the lacklustre Interims landed and seriously doubt there anyone without doubt, particularly after so many excited reports from ME. He was probably right to be excited but was also speaking ahead of financial reality. Finally, it look like we have the bright future many of us thought was nearly here many moons ago. Back to being excited by an (ex) AIM share for the first time in several years.
