09.54 - It's possible. Usually they go with an AUS open or London open RNS and state the details in past tense reference=ing Alaska time if y memory serves me correctly. Its kind of irrelevant unless people think it won't happen or they have hit severe problems and the delay could be material...I doubt it my only very small concern is this is a different rig type and company...Arr it'll be fine. This one is shallow enough that if they can't spud I'll fly over with a pickaxe and get them to TD manually ;-)

Either they have suffered another small delay or they have been flat out with the accounts and corp governance. Would very much hope we get an RNS on AUS open.

10.25 - or indeed political leadership changes that flex a previously unheard of green finger?!? I get the fact that hope for the best plan for the worst but we had some many well executed drills and the rocks have been...inconclusive...so I'd like operation efficiency to continue but the rocks, the Nanushuk, to be commercial as it has been for many others.
Lots of unknowns and risk....doesn't necessarily have to preclude positivity lol

Its a shallow target so not long between Spud and TD and from there some material news (positive if there is any justice in the world).
Regardless, 20-3 weeks and will have a better idea as to the directional options the company has.

Shallow drill so small timeframe from spud to TD and therefore not a long wait to see what we have and where we go from here.

From what I understand, a bit of a blunder, an understandable blunder, but blunder all the same. Pipeline state well had integrity issues and Talitha has suffered similar. Rather than take a cautious (but moire expensive decision) to case the well through its drill progression they didn't and the bottom of the whole suffered (what could have been easily foreseeable) issues, they then took a week to run a small lateral offset (to minimise cost and time) but clearly that didn't work either so now they are resetting a lateral off set for the bottom 1200 odd feet to get further away from the original position and 12-14 days additional time before testing time. puts the other zone testing in serious jeopardy. and personally I think avoidable.
If they don't test the other zones of interest, particularly the basin floor fan, this season I don't think 88 will know what value any of the targets have in the central leases till 2022.

11.25 - impossible to determine with any accuracy given the variables at play. Probably best to focus on finding it first.
Can you tell me what the oil price will be at point of sale negotiations?
Whatever grade hydrocarbon?
what will be the breakeven for extraction?
how much competition or otherwise to the sales negotiations?
what infrastructure will be available (if anything additional to ours and where that is located)?
Once you think about it, even at a surface level, you can see it's an unanswerable question at the moment. Unless its a pure guess and you might want to believe that...your money, your choice
