10.16 - I tend to agree. Its a great result and that should be reflected as such...but the 26bn guys should wind it in...especially, as always, the share price has done sweet FA at the moment.

Keefy - You're double counting. Upper Basin floor fan and Lower basin floor fan together make the basin floor fan complex. However you're recoverable % is correct (as you've double countered with sides)....which in itself seems very low but of course don't include the other prospects.

J - I know how much you appreciated Scot126's comments about PANRs potential. Numbers released and they are estimating 12.1bn barrels OIP for the basin floor fan and 1.41bn barrel recoverable. Whilst thats good for them its a long way off the 26bn he was spouting. Share price has risen by a massive 1.98% currently ??

16.30 - haven't really looked into their other exploits however any finance company/vehicle are not to be trusted was you can bet they be doing whatever they choose to maximise their own strategy...

14.46 - Unfortunately whilst news is afoot (whether thats next week or a short period of time after that, farallon have previously shown they are more than happy to continue to de-risk and drip sell at a level right up to RNS release. That level appears to be c.£0.30 I don'y think they Weill change that so we have to hope for 2 things.
1. Massive theta west resource estimate and supporting analysis
2. that the market will actually care what the estimate looks like (this is where peoples expectations and emotions have been out of line from what I've seen)

09.29 - Good research...Not so much a takeover but by god thats a massive WI for a Farm-in partner.

12.44 - US inflation concerns...might be something in it as all business looking to recoup lost business by increasing prices signifcantly to soak up savings and stimulus packages, certainly see evidence of that in UK already....don't think its sustainable but also its inefficient as the government will look to take back far more than they give given increases in corp tax.
Its a shame as it's impacting oil prices and may dampen the benefit of an good news...

07.05 - I agree with Brom's overnight markets, I have AUS as flat.

10.22 - Inflation concerns in the US hasn't helped equity markets...but it's of some comfort to know it's affecting the whole market not just us. Hopefully any positive news flow will overcome general negative equity pressure.

selling now you'd only get a fraction of what its worth after a couple of successful flow tests and some delineation...I would be voting against any takeover (unless an amazing price far above £1 and wholly supported but the board) for at least 2 years.

08.55 - We're coming out of a global pandemic and you'd think people would have reflected on whats important and maybe be a bit more positive but no...they are either p!ssing about hacking pipelines or other detrimental acts...humans are a self destructive species...its amazing we have gotten to where we are

I just hope given the US is leading the way in volume that they get excited about any part of the results the are positive. The UK and AUS are pretty negative / day trader investor bases and we know from PMO and Charlie-1 results that they are not always rationale when it comes to providing any retrace when things turn out better. "Go USA"

20.07 - or the other way is they release the various lab results as they become available and at the end they produce a summarised report that, more than likely, reiterates the findings but also ties them together and provides insight as to what’s they all mean when interpreted together....just my thoughts.

18.31 - I don’t know why they would have bothered giving us a schedule if they were just going to produce a finalised comprehensive report in 10-12 weeks. But with a change at the helm they could change tack...

08.04 - 08.37 Been saying exactly this for a while, bigger companies probably wouldn't look to take these assets on at this stage but if they were excited about the Nanushuk extension potential and icewine Seebee, Torok, possible SMD and Kapaurk (looks like below the HRZ) then you'd receive a heavy discount to the value before you flowed a couple of wells on each. That could be done in the next 18 months to 2.5 years...I'd be happy to wait for that period to get a far better return (of course assuming above middle success case).

09.17 - Well that answers that question....DW still holds his c.120m shares...which I always thought he would given he'd be in a lock out period up to leaving and then possible for a predetermined time after.
However I still think he'll be keeping this position if he thinks there are good times ahead and lets face it, he'd have the best information to understand if thats probable.
