RE: Some Background on Farallon3 Jun 2021 20:32
10.31 - oh and as a side note...assume farallon's position is 120m at c.£0.30 (again no one has provided any evidence that they are looking to sell down the lot)...to buy it out would be £36m...how big would the group need to be? going to find 10 people to part with £3,600,000 on this risk? or 72 to part with £500,000?
Thats before you get in to the regulatory requirements and what the parties need to look like to conduct block trades (assuming individual private investors wouldn't be included in the allowable parties). Then there's Farallons position...they know their selling is holding this back therefore even if they had a B/E of a certain value (I'm not being responsible for fuelling uncorroborated whispers)...they are also wise enough to know there is a fair probability that the share price would rise if a genuine equity holder took their risk so they would want some value out of that and I'd suggest it would be a fair premium over current market price...but heh, those are my logical opinions based on a little experience in finance but I can't back it up therefore I suggest everyone sees it for what it is....1 guy's opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
