Interesting that we've had 2 ii's reduce their stakes significantly today and the SP is up nearly 10%............have we got a new ii buyer in the background pushing this demand?

Interesting comments and points raised Hieronymus. I've only been a shareholder in ARS for 18 months. Are there previous incidences of corporate mis-governance which raise concern?

The previous deal for shares with Aeturnum was a bit of a sweetheart deal, I agree. However, I could live with it if it's for the greater good, and we won't know that until we find out the terms of the deal of any acquisition of KSK. However, there is less change of them low balling us for it, as they have a vested interest in ARS too now.

On your point about the raise of authorised capital, I admit I've not seen the resolution but often see these. I don't get overly concerned about it, as we don't know what funds maybe required and it's general good practice to cover off this base. It doesn't mean the company will raise $25m. It just gives them authorisation to, should there be a requirement.

I'm happy to give Tony the benefit of the doubt for the time being. However, if you've had a previous bad experience here, please advise, as i'd be interested to know

Thanks for the update Jurado. As a major shareholder, IP Group should have been closer to the situation at Avacta. I imagine they previously used Woodford as a liaison for this. Whilst I appreciate the honesty, i'm deeply unimpressed by the response and it makes me question both the competence and focus of IP Group. I appreciate they can't get it right all the time, but if they understood the business, they would not have made such a decision. I say that as a shareholder of both. The value of my IP holding is sitting marginally above a third at what my average is, whilst my Avacta holding is nearly treble my average. Once Nanapore value is realised, I will be looking to exit here..........i've lost faith

Yes eagle, that is it......I don't think it is groundbreaking news that some like to think, but it's further assurance and makes our offering more credible. It's all about getting a large pharma on board - then it will be significant

Agreed, but fairly reassuring..........decent numbers in comparison with last year. Covid is the big cloud but at least copper prices are rebounding which should help

Interesting to see the movement today on what should have been positive news. I've been closely following for the past few months, looking to buy at some point but this does make me wary. I'm also invested in IP Group who operate a similar investment structure and their SP has been hammered (albeit partly due to Woodford) over the past few years. They have Ceres and Oxford Nanopore in their portfolio and still can't command a solid SP. I'm wondering if the same will apply here............perhaps it puts investors off that there's no certainty of when they might get a return and difficult to see future prospects

Couldn't believe I saw this (and Genedrive) plummet this morning and is now below placing price. Too good an opportunity not to top up - bought at 112.7p. The whole market is tumbling today, no doubt on fears of a second wave. But this just makes Avacta even more relevant!!!!!

It looks like we've had a big seller in the background depressing the price, but they may now be out with today's rise. No doubt we'll see an RNS in the coming days

Not sure why they issued a trading statement 6 days before they release the actual results that cover the statement

Good summary Lewis. I've only been following PRIM recently, it's on my watchlist for now but I am looking to invest when I free up some capital in the coming weeks. I certainly agree with your thoughts on GGP and Fresho

Anyway, away from the personal matters the SP does seem to be taking a hit today, in line with the wider market. Currently showing 10% down. Although there appear to be more buys than sells still. Hopefully it’s just a blip

I agree Tom, the only caveat I would have is that i'm disappointed that they've not announced further distribution partners yet, which the good Dr intimated were in the pipeline
