No idea what to expect, anything is just speculation. We don't know if they'll look to acquire in full or partially or whether a deal will even materialise (what they offer may not be acceptable to ARS). The latter is unlikely given the depth of cooperation between the 2 parties.

In terms of too late to get in, absolutely not. My average is 4.43p here and i expect to bag significantly on that.

Lots more news expected here over the coming months, and expect the copper price to stregthen as demand returns.

I'm actually looking forward to the day this delists and i can put this whole sorry saga behind me. A costly mistake, but i'll at least be able to crystallise my losses and use it to offset my gains elsewhere so I don't breach CPT level (it's not in my ISA)

I see it the other way ChunkyDog, Barnett had a similar investment style as Woodford and that's why they wanted him out. I think we'll see further reductions in Invesco's stake in IP Group and another i'm invested in Provident Financial. My view is that this distressed seller is a significant factor in holding back the SP of both companies (albeit not the only reason)

Agree with most of that. I’m a small holder of Ceres but it was right for IP to slice their holding and monetise gains.
I have a decent stake in Avacta and have done for about 8 years, averaging down to 50p. The sale by IP was unfathomable, you could even say it was negligent. I’m fuming as a holder of IP group and it’s really made me question their competence. I’m already sitting on a hefty paper loss here and will be looking at reducing when prudent

So, release an RNS saying they believe FF+ has potential benefits for covid symptoms which they are keen to investigate further............it's not difficult. There are only 2 reasons why they would not - they either do not believe in the product or they just can't be bothered with the effort

I hope they do jump on the bandwagon, just so i can get out of this share with some semblence of a return. The 6 month blackout on information is scandalous, particularly in mind of the potential benefits FF could bring.

Disagree Colonel, Sea Lion is too far advanced for them to pull the plug now. Break even level has been significantly reduced and there will be a shortage of reserves in the not too distant future, due to under investment. Sea Lion is a strategic asset for the UK government so will proceed

I sold 2 tranches last week, as I bought in at 2.75 and felt uneasy about continuing to hold such a stake without any news. So i top sliced. Still have a chunky holding remaining though, and am intrigued by the movements seen. Something must be brewing

So I've just got off the phone to Halifax, after registering a complaint that I couldn't partake in this offering. A fairly pointless exercise, however on principal I felt the need to take a stance, which they say has been registered and taken on board by senior management at Halifax Share Dealing. It was ultimately due to the short turnaround and significant resource required to put in place, under the current circumstances with working arrangements, they didn't think they could achieve. The have acknowledged that they will look at this in future, as they think more companies will look to raise funds in short turnarounds like this.

One interesting thing though, was that Halifax have been advised by the brokers that the placing is heavily oversubscribed - they'd had 7 million requests at the end of last week, vs the 1.25 million placing, so it will be heavily scaled back
