This is far less the case now and investors are more savvy and will want to see that potential find crystallised into an actual revenue stream before viewing it as a viable investment

News been spilled?

Another 10% rise, steady away here which is what I like to see m, rather than pump and dump. I’ve been pondering top slicing here but it feels like there is something brewing so I’ve been holding off

I’m not saying it isn’t, I’m also invested in IP Group but it’s highly unusual for them to sell up if inflection point is imminent

Yeah I'm slightly conflicted by this. Clearly something is brewing, which is encouraging and there's interest here which is supporting the SP, in spite of the discounted raise. However, it's unusual for IP Group to sell out if it's at inflection point............so do they know something others don't? I think the market is as confused about this as us PI's, given the fluctuating SP over the past couple of days - starting off down and then rising

I've been monitoring the SP the past couple of weeks here............I also work in aviation and have Jet2 and Wizz on my radar as airlines who look attractive investments. I may have missed the low here but will see over the next month or so. I do however think aviation will be the last sector to recover from this crisis. Countries will be concerned about people bringing the virus in and spreading it. I can see testing being a requirement prior to countries allowing personnel in. Showing symptoms is not enough, as we know some people don't show any and others it can take 2 weeks.

No way will this go pop - the directors have too much skin in the game to let that happen. It could be delisted and go private though

A takeover is certainly a possibility, albeit it would be highly opportunistic. I would hope the rise is due to securing funding rather than a takeover - my average is similar to yours. If it was a takeover, i would expect a price of at least 2p but it depends how desperate the board view it

The positive in this is that their holding is now greater than originally was, which indicates they have faith in the company and that we're also oversold

Clever bit of business by them.............sold off a huge tranche of shares on around 10th March at £3.50 before piling back in around 20th at half the price..........only wish i had the foresight to have done the same

It's not shameless ramping, they're just using all tools available to them to get traction and attention that they maybe have th tools to help this crisis. Quite how anyone could perceive this as a negative is beyond me............unless they have an ulterior motive

That's a matter of opinion Pascha. Whilst 38p won't come anytime soon, it's not unforeseeable in the future. I've seen similar stocks rise, like Rene. I have limited spare capital at the moment but do intend on averaging down at some point. However, I'm not in a major rush and XSG will need to raise funds again this year so there will be opportunities

Agreed............I've sunk so much money into this and still have an average of 38p. Happy to continue holding and averaging down when the time is right but am just watching and waiting atm as i think we'll need to raise more funds

Agreed hopeabound.............who's going to fund it? XSG don't have a pot to p!ss in. Cashflow and financing are now a real concern for XSG

IP Group and John Shaw have almost 25% of this company combined, so have a vested interest. I would have thought it would be in their interests to keep it going and fund further, unless the prospects are dire?
