Ophidian, I think regulatory approval may take a lot longer judging by others............it appears 2 months is now the norm, and even after they have been received, individual countries want to carry out their own tests before approving. Look at GDR. Regulators were waving through approvals at the start of the pandemic, to get testing kit out there. However, this led to a plethora of poor quality equipment, which has had a knock on effect 2 fold. Firstly, regulators are now back to doing much more due diligence and individual countries no longer trust just the regulator's approval and will want to carry out their own tests. We're really in a critical phase, but I don't see us having anything to market until September at the earliest, October more likely. With pre-orders, we may still do well but timeframes are still a concern

But been fairly muted since..........I just don't think TPG is really in the mainstream yet, which is why it's overlooked. It also appears to be a jack of all trades. If it can push it's hydrogen credentials, then I can see a bright future. UK government white paper on hydrogen strategy will be out this autumn, whilst the US and Germany are really starting to seriously push it

Old news Stokey, but yes that is the case............definitely would want to be in hydrogen shares, as the Government is expected to heavily push it, as they don't want to be left behind.

Having read it, i disagree that it’s not an AE issue. They are being accused of fraud themselves. Perhaps that is why they changed the company name, to distance themselves from the past. It might not have any impact on ARS and our proposed deal but it’s still a concern nonetheless

Not necessarily wyndrum, it might take legislation for that to happen. However, it's perfectly reasonable to expect the higher end branded machines (Samsung etc) to put it in their machines and market it as a benefit

kenni, I'd expect it to be higher than 94kbpd in q4. Production in H1 in UK fields was affected by outages, reducing the output. With a clear run, I wouldn't be surprised to see 105kbpd in Q4

Agreed both. The SP is so depressed that the only way shareholders will get a return is via a dividend or share buyback. I don't think the company has any interest in that or shareholders. It was definitely a mistake buying in here. Once Nanopore is done, so am I. Hopefully at a higher level than this

Interesting that IP Group have effectively sold their entire stake in Ceres now. I don't have an issue with how they've gone about this, albeit I think they could have got a higher price. It doesn't seem to have had any impact on the SP though

Like many, I was significantly underwhelmed by today's RNS. But I should not be surprised, when you get silence like we've had, it's usually because there isn't any good news to report.

What is also disappointing, and hasn't been highlighted, is that the POC test isn't expected before year end now. That's hugely frustrating. AVCT and SONA will be well ahead by then

I didn't see anything wrong either, I appreciate views from all sides (unless they have an agenda). I agree with most of what alwayswinning says but I disagree slightly on the cancer treatement aspect. Whilst it may not add any meaningful value yet, it does have value and for me is the backstop for if coronavirus testing doesn't materialise as expected. Alastair still sees this as the key element for the company and has a lot of confidence in it
