You'd think - you would have to go back to 2008ish for a later update. I guess there are two trains of thought here i) they are waiting to put the icing on the cake ii) they are desperately trying to get some good news. I suppose the other option is none of the above.

They are probably avoiding the uncertainty of the election - so perhaps early next week - although is 14041 a strange number aka signal for an RNS tomorrow.

Hope the RNS is tomorrow - good point about the attendees. While I would prefer another contract (aka the software contract) I now think that the market may get nervous if it isn't this one (we are a quarter in now). So my hope is (similar to yours) that they elaborate on the contract being the one in the the TU while also indicating they are back on track re insurance. I would add, that if this happens then someone is advising them in the dark arts of PR e.g. it would be too much of a coincidence that Allenby use statements like 'the investment case .... insurance' for that to be addressed a couple of days later. I am over thinking this..... let's see what the TU brings (whenever it is dropped).

You and me both - baffled by ML, but as you said [neither] of us are running empires to know how it all works. I am sure there are lots of accountancy tricks that justify counter-intuitive behaviour.

Yes, Allenby - always seems to be done by a junior. What is the significance of the July update - perhaps they have no choose, but seems rather close to the FY results - perhaps this is a cut and paste from the full Allenby update coming....

"We know results are bad" - but does the market remember!? A nice contract statement may mitigate that but my experience is shares always seem to go down even when the news is already know. Let's hope any news will get us back into double digits by the end of the week....

Product seems to be called AAx - In 2019 AA partnered with AX for accident management - not saying it is but it could be the combination of their names (so not Trak) - however, if Drvn supplies devices then maybe the system is device agnostic.

Drvn provide solutions for breakdown companies - the AA being one (which never gets mentioned anymore) - this led me to the following page (they have discontinued Smart Breakdown) - the question is - is Trak still involved in their new offering (I doubt it)?

I like the way you avoided mentioning the Friday (for the usual reason compounded by it being the day of the election results) - if they do announce on Friday we are truly sunk

We must be close to an update (next week?) and maybe one from Allenby - so it may be worth waiting for that as we are bound to have moe questions. I don't mind being the messenger for that one (I appreciated you reaching out to JW)

Not disagreeing with anyone here - I certainly hope it isn't the big one but we spoke before about how could Trak be so confident a contract would be signed 6 months out - even suggesting that it must be an existing client (or ML). I think we even mentioned Iceland. Granted, you would think the RNS would have stated that this is the contract we had been waiting for - so I guess it isn't. Nonetheless, more good news.....I am not complaining (although the share price is still dire)

Shouldn't miss the other important aspect of the RNS - Iceland still a loyal customer so clearly happy
