Morning all

Whilst we wait with bated breath regarding the impending assay results - let’s have a fun poll - if anyone is willing to participate.

Question for response - will the assay results be provided in the remaining days of February by the Wishbone BoD.

Simple Yes or No response.

Unless I’m very much mistaken, this is a key week for Wishbone.

With the August 18th 2025 RNS stating samples had been sent for Assay testing - we were then advised earlier this year that results expected in February.

As such, and to make sure the BoD are not pulling the wool over our eyes - they have circa 4.5 days to announce the Assay results.

If that is not announced in the timelines that was previously/formally detailed - Wishbone BoD may well end up with egg on their faces - and the loss of goodwill from a majority of shareholders.

Just thought I’d send a reminder - primarily to the BOD - of their RNS dated August 18th 2025.

“Transport of the core to Perth to be cut and assayed will now be expedited.”

That will be 6 months this Wednesday from the RNS making that announcement.

Even with logistics and assayed companies being busy - 6 months (26 weeks) is definitely exceeding what is fair and reasonable to now have the assay results announced.

This RNS overall is positive, but still at an early stage for full on bundle of joy..!

This RNS improves Wishbone’s strategic position, but it is not evidence of a valuable resource yet.

Assay results are still key:

The market will of course wait for drill assay results — especially from recent drilling at the Red Setter Gold Dome — before making any valuation decisions.

Exploration pipeline intact:

Wishbone still has funding and a growing land package, so they remain in the game pending results.

Pros and cons - shareholders have a genuine reason to feel concerned about the delay and current share price weakness — because junior exploration stocks live and die by assay results, and WSBN hasn’t delivered them yet. (We still wait)…!

However, this isn’t necessarily a sign of disaster — lab delays happen, and the company still expects to report results that could materially change the narrative. The stock is still speculative, and until assays confirm grades, sentiment may remain subdued.

The sooner WSBN BoD provides an update - one way or another - the better for all of us.

To be frank - I’m glad I’m wrong.. much rather have a higher share price..

This my my view of what I think will happen today - but hoping I’m wrong..

SP will again fall today - potentially quite a bit - then on Monday / Tuesday it will rapidly rise - and end of next week - share price significantly back down again.

As above, hope I’m wrong, as I want this SP like everyone else - as high as possible.

Looks like a standard pattern is ongoing with the SP..

The 3 Questions we as investors should be asking WSBN:

If we’re all tracking this closely, these are the pressure points:

1. How many assays are already received vs outstanding?

2. Are any gold intercepts above economic cut-off grades?

3. Why has no partial data been released if assays are back?

Transparent companies should answer at least one of these clearly.

To your point - and this debate can happily rumble on - but to again repeat the RNS from August 18th - that stated samples sent for assay.

This Monday that will be 22 weeks. Yes, 22 weeks..!!! Aka 5 1/2 months… !!! Somewhat more than your 3 months.

As such, when referring to dipsticks - you may need to look in the mirror again.!!

….. but, is the share price dropping or stagnating currently, due to the market concern that the assay results have either still not been released, or there is a leak that says the assay results are not as good as expected or hoped for?

As I say, it’s just a thought.

Yes, August 18th the RNS detailed this….

Shocking eh..!!

I get the feeling this might be another day of rinse and repeat.

SP goes up for a few hours - then multiple sells later for quick profit taking - so the SP will drop again.

Like the vast majority here - this would help once the assay results are known.

I’ve commented on this a few times, but Wishbone sent off for assay testing/results in August (RNS August 18th states this).

We are now at the beginning of January (Jan 5th) - which is 20 weeks.

Normal assay results take 6-10 weeks from delivery to result.

Busy/complex requests for assay take 10-14 weeks.

As such, 20 weeks is far too long and not normal.

According to some research I just carried out. Longer than 16 weeks for assay results is unusual.

Longer than 20 weeks is “borderline excessive “.

Research also stated - “Companies are not allowed to sit on clearly material assay results.

If Wishbone had strong, clean, headline-grade gold results, they would already have been released.”

I just hope the results are delayed as they are rechecking the quality.

As per our conversation earlier this week - I think you may be the broken record.

Many are quite rightly stating the assay results are overdue - again as you do not seem able to read past RNS’s correctly - as the RNS on August 18th stated “Transport of the core to Perth to be cut and assayed will now be expedited.”

NOTE - from actual sources in Australia:

“In practice, exploration programs often report waiting several weeks (e.g., ~4–6 weeks) between drilling and final result delivery when accounting for logging, sample prep, transport and lab queue.”

Further:

“Situations of extended delays (e.g., 8–10+ weeks) have been reported when labs are particularly busy with high industry demand, though these aren’t ideal or guaranteed.

• Some specific company reports have referenced turnaround times around 60–65 days for certain labs with heavy backlogs”

@Ezhik - we are now at circa 17 weeks. So yes, OVERDUE.

Please allow me to counter - and to be clear.

The RNS on August 18th stated:

“Transport of the core to Perth to be cut and assayed will now be expedited.”

That is therefore circa 4 months ago.

Even with busy test labs - that is a long time, bearing in mind we are now at Dec 16th.

Also, to be clear - explorers “cannot” keep the results to themselves since that is share price effecting and a conflict of interest.

A delay of 4 months is not in my head. It is fact - as per the RNS on August 18th.

Whilst I appreciate your feedback - the feedback does need to be fact based.
