Strange, there was a £119k trade that popped up from yesterday at 16.20, didn't show as a buy or a sell, now disappeared and the price is rising....

After 3 successful trades I've come unstuck here with another buy at 32p, you can't predict a big sell off unfortunately. I really thought we were on the up for good and once the seller is clear i'm sure it will continue

AFC are completely dependent on De Nora for the electrodes but that shouldn’t mean we don’t have control over our future, without knowing what deal there will eventually be between the two companies it would all be speculation

Thanks Bristoldan for sharing the link. I agree with everything in that report as that has been my reasoning for attacking AFC in the past. The first paragraph is key, if we get a sale this becomes a convincing buy, looking at the monthly chart I’d say people are now buying in with the belief that it’s really going to happen this time. We’ve certainly never had so many social media posts issued before to drum up interest.

of course this approach also opens you up to risks if your suppliers cannot supply, if advanced plastics went into administration for example, it took months to select a manufacturing partner and a lot of investment in tooling and we are reliant on a single source for everything which is never good.

If you mean me Haggis (it's Daz not Dan), i do hold stock and have done for over 5 years, I got fed up with the over promising RNS's and then nothing happening, and the subsequent fall back in share price, dodgy finance deals which also hit the share price so I started trading it instead so I couldn't care less if the share price doesn't follow our peers, as long as it continues to go up and down i'm doing ok. BTW I don't know how to short a share and don't want to as I don't agree with it.

We have previously had 2 RNS's confirming first commercial order but they were so long ago everyone's forgotten about them

Mucksy, I still hold my original investment @ 60p and i'm continuing to trade it with additional funds when I see an opportunity.

Klunk, as I pointed out not long ago AFC have a habit of releasing new bits of information which has previously been withheld. Maybe they were naïve and didn't realise the product needed CE marking until a potential customer asked the question. We were previously told me were commercial which to me means we have a product we can sell, so that was clearly a.....
