Quizz i've never de-ramped, i've only ever given my personal opinion and a few people agree with me, isn't that what this forum is for ? I don't have time for people who tell me to go elsewhere, i've been here for more years than i can remember, aren't i entitled to feel aggrieved that all of the promises of flightpath to sales have come to very little so far ?

FCI this comment further reinforces what i said the other day regarding AFC struggling to get sales, lots of interest but customers want the high density model. Plus i'm getting fed up with hearing accelerating and commercialisation. We've been hearing that for years and we've delivered one system.

For me the excitement of the last few weeks has dried up again, that feel good factor of the rising share price, then news of the placing and now back to reality of still no orders, why are AFC finding it so hard to sell anything ? The new collaborations are good but with Acciona there's still no guarantee that it will result in sales, the only tie up that will result in sales is with ABB and that deal has only just been done so how long do we have to wait for that to result in sales ? If it's as long as from the launch of the worlds first hydrogen powered EV charger to now then that would be very bad for the SP.

Penny maybe not dropped for several reasons, i deal with a lot of the big contracting companies in the UK and one or two in the EU, until the tie ups i had not personally heard of Acciona or Ricardo, although i do deal with ABB. Why have AFC not got any interest from the UK ? Also, in terms of the placing the amount invested by ABB was very small compared to the overall placing and a tiny amount for such a large company, to me this doesn't show massive confidence but more of a punt.
History, a long history of partnerships that have gone nowhere, even recent ones, Rolec.
Orders, despite repeated RNS's confirming growing interest still nothing from councils, service stations etc.
Patience gets taken to the extreme being invested in AFC.
We still need that confirmation that there are customers who want to place multi million pound orders and so far there's no evidence.

Sentiment will also play a part, i suspect there will be buyers waiting to buy in tomorrow after the shares hit the market, but as a PI you won't be able to buy in cheap as the II's get to trade half an hour before you do. Buying has virtually dried up for now.
If i sold my entire holding today i would be liable for capital gains tax and it's not guaranteed i would be able to buy in cheaper tomorrow, it's all an educated gamble.

Quizz, this is how i see it, as an example-

today, market cap = £1,000 - shares in issue =1000, SP = £1

tomorrow after new shares hit the market, market cap = £,1000, shares in issue =1100, SP =£0.91

Quizz, you're confusing sentiment with the technical effects of dilution

i've seen enough dilutions in the past having been invested with AFC for many years to know what happens...

to a certain extent yes, if investors know a dilution is coming it affects the share price when the news is released but when the additional shares hit the market the existing shares will be worth less because there will be more of them !

because the extra shares haven't hit the market yet so your existing shares haven't been diluted by 10% yet.

tomorrow is Earth Day so a great marketing opportunity to spread the word.
