am not as confident in Larry or the business as it stands as you Pranchee. Larrys been there long enough to open his trap and hasnt. in fairness he does seem to have improved a few things, and does have industry pedigree, but he's far far to quiet. I didnt like the close down in production (after making a big song and dance about increasing the shifts) and wonder if that is still paused? - if it is im seriously concerned about cash burn and drilling cost and no actual income. It is nice to see more 'white stuff' on the ground surface in the area, but just moving stuff/plant around will increase this, it doesnt mean a lot, look at the road surface by any field gate in the countryside and you can see how the tractor tyres spread mud about.

The water issue also concerns me and nothings realy been done about that, and it will cost big money.

Keep saying it, but to be investable this company needs to issue factual news and numbers and be a whole lot more open with its supporters else it will just wither on the vine from cash burn and rock bottom price dilution.

Assuming figures are fairly correct (and thats a big assumption) then no real need to call for more funding with that sort of cash generation for either general operations or the also major other 'usubstantiated unknown' the water issue.

BOD need to realise that their silence is killing their own business here.

dont pretent to know anything about american politics, but even if it got as far as impeachment, surely with his 'majority' he'd get off the hook anyway? I just cannot see why the US senators/congress etc particularly in his own party, would want to remove him given the huge boost he has given his country, at the expense of others. Obviously the democrates would like him out for purely political/ideological reasons but they dont have the numbers to do this.

reached with pilot union Forsa and ballot being put to the pilots for vote. no details of whats been discussed after 22 hours of continuous talks, so its still a wait and see situation. At least this explaines todays leap.

bottled, know what you mean about profit being profit, it soon disappears, KAZ has been a truley scary case in mind this last week or so, hope that one comes back for you soon mate, the drop has been a hard one there. Dont want to sound like a smart ar5e or anything but i dont tend to worry about profits circa 500 or so, i play with big numbers normally, and my name on here isnt really how i trade in reality, i tend to go long term, but fancied learning a bit of trading skills to go more shorterterm for the excitement of it, but truth be told i just aint good enough at it, far to fecking stupid for me to get a handle on how it works, so am reverting to type i.e. tortoise not hare.

Have an uncommited pot of £38k sitting about for bargains (did think of Kaz) and also think the markets are all over the place so am keeping that powder dry for now.

Think im going to pop myself a sslightly higher target on the PFC and if it gets there, drop them and pull the cash out till i see something to buy i know more about and am more comfortable with holding for longer. Thanks for your thoughts mate.

Apreciate your thought, im normally an all or nothing pile in type of investor, and have quite a few big amounts dotted about a variety of companies, so am pretty well spread at the same time overall as my pf is quite sizable. The static nature of Glen is the reason im indecisive at the mo, just not seeing any reason for a pick up any time soon the way things are but can see a big future value increase in the long term. On the flip side PFC do seem to move a little more reliably, so offer a few more choices. I shall keep mulling, but thank you for your thoughts

using the lowest figure and assumptions of 12 ton that makes 1.5 million USD, quite a tidy sum. The point is we just dont know until they give out some details so its all purely guesswork, and this is what they need to start revealing to make them investible and give any credence. Confidentiallty agreements are just an excuse to keep schtum i feel.

What turned me off from here was a reasonably silly piece of news, i posted about it at the time. It was their announcement that they had bought a loader/JCB, just made me think the business was a bit 'toy town' till then.

bit of advice from the PFC experienced on here, you know who you are.

i have 1520 PFC @ 6.21, which i bought for a quick turnaround. I know bugger all about em and went in with a punt so am thinking of selling ( currently at 6.55) and taking the £500 odd profit and stake back into Glen at the current price. i have a lot of Glen and this wont improve my average much, but i do think at least then i have a small tranche at a cheap price to sit on.

Question is, Glen is doing SFA at the moment but is cheap, wheras PFC are moving about so maybe a few in/out trades or hold for a higher price.

appreciate its my choice, but thoughts welcomed, i know some of you guys are into PFC

4unme, this is the basic problem with this company. its total lack of transparancy and proven past dishonesty from the BOD. Once trust is lost with most things in life its a struggle to recover and move on. The company could be sitting on a huge mountain of cash and be the next Apple who knows, but secrecy and lies make it uninvestible in reality, apart from little long shot throw away punts for new people and the long suffering lth's for are trapped in due to huge paper losses. They really do need to start to look at giving out some newsflow before they burn the cash in the bank away and then need to raise more at rock botttom rates to continue down the same path.

LOL think all the light hearted good humoured banter on this board realy makes it the best on LSE, even when on occasion we let ourselves down and talk about the shares lol.

interesting that on such a good rise the two big holders have reduced their holdings, albeight slightly, maybe taking a little profit out to cover their costs. Looking like a good day though, mikeys donkey has found its trainers!

billy, wish id got a few american stocks, rather than our flat low lustre glenda, doesnt seem to be moving much at all here, very stagnant. As for trumpy, sometimes you have to shake the bag and mix things up a bit, thats often unsettling, but neccasary for the americans to do rather than keep adding to their countries impending troubles whilst taking the lazy look the other way approach. wish we'd got a tough UK first politician over here.

billy, he's not tanked the US market, that is running at a barmy high level. Only markets he bu99ered up so far are everybody elses - which lines up with his promises of putting US first so wont bother our American friends. Agree on the wall though thats not progressing, although i think its needed.
