RE: Deal.17 Oct 2019 22:44
if Boris puts his deal to Parliament with a a binary choice question presented for MP's to vote upon i.e. his deal or no deal. But he then (pinching the labour partys idea) states he wishes to leave on a no deal basis as his preferred option, despite his negiotiated deal, where does this leave the MP's?
If they vote for his deal, it gets passed and we leave on 31st with a big bill and potentially less agravation. If they vote in line with his 'preferred' option, i.e. no deal, he complies with the surrender act and so ensures a clean break brexit by taking the brexit voters on board to gain a majority. Surely by not voting for his deal in a binary choice, by definition this means they have accepted no deal? Either way he meets his promise to be out on 31st.
