made a bit on the UU sale but not a great amount, had them for a while now earning divis as water industry was a big part of my pf for a long time, but now the prices have risen back to reasonable levels im looking to reduce UK utility stocks where i can. Still got a fair few UU and Pnn but will probably off load those too, possibly put the money into Bp. Against usual advice im getting very sector specific with my investments, looking more for divis than trades at the moment

just dropped a load of UU. and swiched the cash into rdsb, in case Boris's 'sh.it or bust' attempt to force an election backfires in December and his vote is split with the Brexit party. Will drop more in the near future i recon. Holding a tad over 14000 now and looking forward to divi day

billy, electric cars are no use outside of cities. Cant get to Coventry from here in the best of them. Im not worried about their rise at all (family member is director of listed battery manufacturer so i have insight here), see a few of em down here but they are starting from such a low base level even a 100% increase is negligable. Not environmentally friendly anyway when all is considered and people can see that. The new VW I car rumoured to cost £30k when becomes availible next year in the UK, has batteries guaranteed for 8 years only. Who's gonna spend that money evry 8 years on a new car? You wont be able to get replacement batteries, they will change spec in 8 years, trying buying a battery for an old cordless drill, you just cannot.

billy, a few groups of delusional fools doing that these days. Mostly london centric where they have decent public transport and are priced out of private vehicles anyway due to parking costs and congestion charging etc. Im of the opinion that the ice will be around for a long time yet mate, anticipating having to review that thought in around 10 years, at the moment i keep adding.
