qz, so what else am i supposed to do with it?, not exactly up for a world cruise at the moment. And who says im losing?, im substantially up over the years and yes sometimes i pick a dud, but dont we all? As a Lth im not normally concerned to much as those tend to rise back up, im confident Glen will do exactly that, and i as a lth have patience, some dont and trade more regularly.
As for your final comments about bull****, only half of it is posted so i dont know what you are saying with clarity. But i can tell you 101% you get no bull**** from me, im a spades a spade person and prepared to back it up. Doubt me if you wish i couldnt care less, maybe buy a mirror.

qz, in the main im a lth rather than a trader so i buy and generally hold. Also dont agree with the usual mantra of spread the risk over a wide selection - i see that as a gain limiter, im quite a high risk investor i suppose and its not for everybody. Over 12k of my rdsb were bought at 12.52, so showing a very healthy profit plus divis there, ive added more at higher rates and now hold north of 14k. made £16k on ezj last time around, but also bought Kie at the wrong time and sitting in a £8k loss there. Lost £2.5k on Tcg as well. Some up some down as most people. With my oilies (rdsb and lesser BP) i just buy and hold, and each time i have spare cash from any source i look to add to those two imparticular, but only at a price im happy with, if not i look elsewhere. Also have Lloy, Cna, Rmg, Pnn, Uu, Rya. all a bit of a mixed bag at the moment, but as a lth i just dont worry about the sp up and down over short periods, if down i just hold, if up i generally topslice and add to oillies.

ken, id be going oil i think. Am biased though with around £400k there in total against around £150k glen. I just like the security of the divi to ride any bad times. Rdsb should be climbing upto the 14th, so an ideal dip down to get in before imho of course.

big oil looking cheap to me guys, rdsb down to mid 22's today, with ex divi day in two weeks.

not a great fan of Halfords myself, shares have been declining for some years now, although they generally pick up a bit just before christmas then drop afterwards, check out the charts. Heard somewhere that they are the biggest UK seller of pushbikes these days. Shops always seem empty when i go in and full of camping gear for some reason.
