a lot of average house owners in decent areas also get trapped with the value of houses these days, a large % of house owners in London will exceed the £650k limit, just on the value of a formerly 'cheap' terrace house bought in the 70's , let along pension values, investments and other properties. NK, thats a real good purpose to have for making the trip, had some great encouragement myself on here from many people this last year, will be nice to put faces to a few id's. You keep that chin up, meet up will be great.

Most people who know me personally, friends and family know i play with shares, they think im crazy with the monies invested but got to be in it to win it is how i see it. Plenty of wadded stockbrokers and bankers around the place, and i fancy a bit too.
Realy got into it by accident at 17 years old when i took out a private pension, golden boy me did the right thing and saved rather than pi55 my money up the wall as a kid. 10 years on and the pension miss selling scandle broke and i found my pension was worth 10k less than id paid in. Was proper angry and decided id sooner lose the money myself than pay some expert to do it for me. Started off from there, ups and downs along the way, but the kid from the council estates done ok for himself over the years, and enjoyed the experience.

from what i remember of my last trip to Tollbar island in Coventry the roads are pretty major biggies so will be cleared of snow in that event, not so sure of the rest of your route down though mate.

ive just spoke to Sian (she is a she) to chase up the 10% discount and to query why they have charged me £200 not £182. She tells me that if anyone who HASNT booked already she can sort a 10% discountif you call the main reception (tel 0330058 3858) , but WONT be able to offer a discount to anyone who has ALREADY booked in. Bummer :)

George, i think everybody has gone for dinner on the 23rd (saturday), not the 24th. im going to pull up a chair and join you all but wont be able to eat a proper dinner, should be ok for soup judging by todays barium tests however :)

100yds from my place, steep steps down the cliff but a cracking beach and a great place to walk the dog.

ken, other end of the town mate from me but the beaches are some of the best in the country here. This is the nearest to me https://www.lustyglaze.co.uk/ great place to live when the suns out, not so good in the bad weather in the winter although the storms are spectacular. Great part of the world to just travel about, loads do it in vans, sounds scabby but ideal if your a young un!
