with the rest of the worlds industries pretty much shut down or majorly disrupted, cancelling dividends, cutting expenditure hugely in an effort to simply stay solvent and taking bailouts from governments etc etc, why on earth do you persist in thinking a minnow in a dusty backwater like KZG would be in demand, or a good target for any suitor?
As for 'expansion' thats just utter nonsense the companies got very little cash and will be trying to preserve what it has.

quite frankly, as someone who is on the 'shielded' list in the UK, i hope lockdowns do extend. Anybody who wants it lifting sooner needs their heads examining - from a health point of view rather than economy, deaths are still far to high to even consider relaxing it.

Bullfinches are well pretty birds, had a visit from one or tow of those at my last place in the midlands, and the odd woodpecker made an appearance too, benifit of living next to woodland i suppose. Amazing what lives in the middle of towns.

Imagine bat poo eaten by my tortoise, seagull eats the tortoise DT shoots and roasts the seagull and off we go all over again. The Pangolins would never forgive me :)
Do love watching the wildlife tho, lots and lots of birds in the garden, just a shame the buggers havent nested in the box with the wifi camera - obviously not fans of the surveillance state.

Im not supposed to leave the house George, but i take the dog out once a day around the local area avoiding everyone, its so quiet here its hardly high risk imho to do that. Helps with cabin fever as im an outside boy at heart.

As for darkest days, i see it as the same PITA really, either way im trapped with limited things to do and lots of sitting around bored. Lockdown for me started in October 2018. Im on airfix model 31 now lol. spent yesterday making 5 more bird boxes to add to the 27 i already have up in the garden.

well i'll not be back in circulation for at least two more months, being shielded and there are lots of 'me' not out there. Without a vaccine i'll be hiding for longer as well, just not worth the risk.
Id be quite happy for lockdown to stay here for several months, and those calling for it to end earlier, like the opposition, are a tad nuts in my opinion.

Sounds a long way off but in reality its three weeks.

Wife has a degree in statistical analysis and it winds her up rotten each day when they put up the BS numbers on the update. Its becoming such a pointless daily ritual now with all the same ridiculus 'sherlock' questions being asked repeatedly.
All they need to tell us is that they are actually taking some action and starting to make the flippin PPE for our brave NHS people in this country now, rather than keep importing the antidote from the poisoner.

what i fail to understand with the governments numbers and presentation is this.

The death rate is 'roughly' the same circa 800/day, obviously very nasty

However the graph of deaths they showed today in all regions of the country all showed marked declines on the curves in all parts of the country. Surely the curve cannot be downwards as they say if the daily deaths are similar.

im convinced it was all a plot to scupper trumps trade war against China and prevent his re-election by destroying his economy, as well as the rest of the west. Only hope that Trump can prove it to the rest of the west and take the barstewards on, trumps the only one with the balls to fight back. No point relying on us or especially the snail munchers to have a go without the yanks.
