I trade through Halifax and have had no corporate actions or offers come through on my account any idea what is going on ?

I did manage to top up at 3.3p with some spare funds but not as much as I would have liked

I have just rung the brokers for an explanation and they think its a glitch in the system they did say other shares that have been suspended have shown up strange prices as well today

Yes I think your correct, massive pay down of debt which was my one slight reticence about RR. Good to see a divi reinstated but frankly at a buy of 94p I am not too worried, just need to stick with the plan. Its good to see a UK company doing well

Had a chat and a beer with an old submariner chum and he said buy RR and BAE I did I sold the BAE to early having made money, cest la vie, but the 4000 RR @ 80 pence I have kept doing nicely in my SIPP.

Thanks for that, I have read all of that and actually cracked open a beer. Interesting they have gone for the boat in the original LONO test. I have been invested here too long to get excited but there IS actually progress.

We sailed down the solent and followed a containership and you could see a lovely brown haze in the evening sun as they made their way eastwards to the channel, MSAR would virtually eliminate that. The market potential is huge they just need to capitalise on it.

Many years ago, i sold some shares over the phone, back in the days of 56k dial up, deal went through, i pulled out the certificate to post off and realised i had sold one more share than i owned. Phoned the brokers back up and they purchased me an extra share this was not uncommon I was assured !

In this day and age of internet share dealing and accounts I would think that is much less likely to happen, more likely accidently pressing a deal button after a doing a 'fake' purchase

I personally sold the bulk of my holding but have retained some just out of interest. to block the deal you would need im sure every private investor and a couple of big II's and they dont tend to rock the boat, so long as they make money they dont care. It is a shame as this should have been worth a lot more

I sold this morning and was gobsmacked i was quoted a deal at 8.01am with no hastles, i thought this would fall through the floor. i do think it will fall and i will be back in £38 ish

I saw the dip and waded in at what i thought was a good price of 2.67 if only i had waited...ohh well if the price remains like this i may well go for a top up. House building is always hit with delays, it does not mean you wont make money, it just requires patience

interesting site, i would be interested to see outcome of planning appeal been watching for a while now, and share price looks to be a good entry point, though not expecting a quick rise, more a keeper

I have been in nearly 2 years through thick and thin, sold this morning at 313.43 which was 83% £8300 in my SIPP thank you very much, i did retain 500 odd shares just to see what happens. £3.20 is cheap as chips, with some steady growth in Nigeria we should have seen a good rise in the price, slightly bad taste in the mouth but cant complain really

I was £1800 up and now £1400 down, holding long term, i believe this will rise when the results for the year come through and some sanity returns and people realise this company is almost printing money. I will simply top up when this bottoms out

£8M reduction in profit 10% ish and how much did that wipe off the value of the company.....22%...? this is a well overdone massive sell off, the market went bonkers today because of the RMG float, HL seemed to stop working my Halifax Sipp froze up a strange strange day. The last time this was looked at as a take over, the share shot up to over well over £4. Yanks will have to cut back on spending yes, but they cant last more than 6 months before they want to go and bomb someone so our gear is always popular. I used the opportunity today to top up with another 1100 shares thanks to a bit in the pot from postman pat

I think the way this is creeping up the results are likely to be good, only question is where will it top out?
