The break even figure for extracting the heavy oil was news, at least to me. Gil had long ago promised details of their independent expert analysis on the heavy stuff but nothing was ever formally published. There’s ‘definitely’ a change in tone regarding Tullow being the Orinduik operator and if there’s a sudden change to say Total, this will go bananas. Plenty of reasons to buy now.

I think you’re right to buy at the moment, before any significant news re our own exploration plans and developments in Namibian waters. Also I believe the solar energy company could be quite positive in due course. It wouldn’t surprise me to see wind power added at some point, but without a doubt there’s still a lot of opportunities out there. Companies don’t even have to use much of their own capital as long as there’s a realistic business case and sound 15/20 year energy supply contract.

My stop at 100 took me out first thing. I wasn’t impressed with the online stats which rather leaves TED looking between a rock and a hard place until the high streets reopen and their new e-commerce platform goes live. Then there’s the niggle about whether TED is losing ground as fashion tastes head in another direction. Still, I’ll be poised to have another go once the general market and TED’s sp settles.

Well for sure Total and Eco will want Tullow to ring fence some of the monies to be allocated for exploration of Tullow’s existing resources to go into Orinduik ASAP. Most of the funds is to reduce the massive debt pile, though. Looks promising however. And Tullow still suggest more disposals could occur, so that might have alternative implications.

Well, I must say I’m surprised the uplift has fizzled out given the solidity of today’s update. Maybe there’ll be a second wind this pm. Still, it’s a hold for me and I’m looking forward to getting me divi!
