I’d expected ECO to be quite lively today, but maybe that’ll come later.

Agreed, but there’s now a proven petroleum system. TLW might have to settle for what they can get given the changes in attitude these days, and the price could be reasonable.

TLW made it known last year they wanted to farm out, that some while after going into their bunker after the two drills. The partners have probably made it clear months ago they expect TLW to drill or stand aside. Hopefully they give up their operator status as part of the farm out. Trouble is, the industry big guns are very cautious about taking on exploration projects- quite a few projects have been seeking farmees (?) for months if not years (as per ECO Namibia). Question is, will ECO get a slice in any deal, given Gil’s recent comments about looking to increase assets in the Atlantic. Surely they’d want a bit more given how highly they regard Orinduik? Better the devil you know!

The outlook looks very positive and if they can survive and grow in the US the market could be massive. It appears this management team know their stuff and basically do what they say they’re going too. That in itself is very refreshing. Should rerate well from here.

Whilst not wanting to count chickens, if as alleged the Namibian government is planning an announcement next week it does certainly look very promising. Eco tweeting secondhand news suggests they feel confident about the gist of the story and the tone of what’s going to be announced.

Surely there’s a big puddle or two awaiting discovery among all those kilometres..? Meanwhile, the Graff-1 ‘news’ is certainly exciting, even if it is super-woke Shell doing the drilling!

SP held up well under generally trying trading conditions on the day. A good sign. I had a buy order for a top up set just below where it bottomed, so missed out today Will try again next week.

Looks a strong appointment in a key area x and at a good time.
I topped up yesterday in the belief retail across the board will see significant positive momentum across all markets as COVID dissipates and general production and shipping settle back down. That’s the hope, anyway!

I had a mad moment this pm just before the close - clicked on RVBP and made a 10 second assessment then decided to buy in, albeit a small opener. Not clever and not something I’d do much of, but in this case I’m quite pleased having now looked into my investment in more detail. This looks a company going places and once COVID dissipates business in all markets should be lively. But obviously you holders already know that! Strange price trail in the circumstances though…

Okay, the whole package is not the biggest oil deal ever, but it’s pretty comfy having it structured with the option for acquiring the remaining 9M shares ring fenced at a fixed price, and which only need to be taken upon successful exploration - assuming that occurs within the term of the option.

N Brown’s update today spoke of a good increase in the sale of smart apparel, if that helps… Home goods down though.

AO, who could have GH out in short notice, seem quite happy with him though, so perhaps best not to hold your breath in that regard.

Gil seems to be pushing the notion that small cap oilers should join forces. Where Gil is concerned there’s no smoke without fire, so in due course I fully expect ECO to be announcing further activity in that regard. I get the feeling we could be in for some ‘left field’ A & M manoeuvres from ECO and AO over the coming months. If so, along with the confirmation of the much anticipated drilling schedules, life as an ECO shareholder could get quite interesting.

Oh well, I’m in now for good or bad!

A solid buy earlier, I note... 500,000 taken in an ordinary trade, so hopefully to a good home.

Am looking at initiating a holding in MADE. It seems to be an ideal modern company with very contemporary products. What’s not to like at the current sp? However, I note there are shorters active with recent increases in holdings, so that is a concern. Hmm ??

No suggestion of the next drilling action being slated though. I guess Sapote caused quite a rethink, but on the positive side they now have reason to examine deeper/older strata.
