TLW said during their presentation there was basically no current interest in farming in to Orinduik. That’s quite different to staying schtum while negotiating, so I’m not holding my breath. Quite concerning that the existing partners with deep pockets aren’t taking over the lion’s share between them. Obviously nobody wants in on ECO’s Namibia territory either, which all in all is a pretty poor situation right now. As for getting a few watts of solar production..!

No specific reason I can see, but there’s the Q3 update on Tuesday, so it could just be a shake before that. Hopefully it’s not an information leak some have become aware of. I’m hoping the recent, more positive words from our leader about trading were a precursor to better figures being published. The last few months of market volatility should have helped business!

If Sapote-1 did come good, thus giving further substance to the possibility Canje holds significant volumes of hydrocarbons, there could well be developments in who holds what - particularly in regard to JHI. Money take so I’m not sure how that might pan out if there was a juicy offer.

Exxon must have gathered so much ‘actual’ geological data following all their drilling in the region that significantly increased their already comprehensive understanding of what lies beneath, and which surely means their chances of success across Canje block are pretty reasonable, even allowing for the two duds to date.

Grasping at straws, perhaps, but if Tullow was currently in discussion with prospective partner/operators that could explain the situation too.

There are always investors of oil stock who take advantage of anticipation driven price hikes and cash out with their known profit just before the expected announcement of results. It has its advantages some times..!

Quite right. ECO shareholders are treated like mushrooms lately. Kept in the dark with the occasional feed of the brown stuff.. we shouldn’t have to hear this sort of significant development secondhand.

Tullow have apparently stated in their presentation nothing happening at Orinduik next year. What a shhat company if that’s the case. For heaven’s sake move over, or even better move out!

Somebody is apparently offloading quite a few anyway. Must have 7-10 days before results announced, I’d guess.

For clarity, I would seriously consider investing here if real, unequivocal progress is made.

It never ceases to amaze me how laid back some investors can be with some companies where management has demonstrated a less than stellar ability to follow up on their promises in the time frame initially provided. In such cases I’d expect expressions of concern, and quite right too!
