I usually keep a close eye on information coming from BPC, as that and from the Bahamas Government are the only facts that matter, I have no recollection of offers made and rejected.

Can you point me in the direction of BPC stating the data is worth $500m. BPC have said the data has cost in excess of $100m and as Private_ Investor has pointed out only worth what somebody is prepared to pay.

BPC don't have any money so they will need to convince the partner to fund a drill costing somewhere $60 and $80 million in return for a large percentage of the oil. Not an easy task but depending on how good the data is not impossible.

As far as I am aware the figure quoted of in excess of $100m was the outlay on 2d and 3d seismic plus previous technical info that they had to purchase, all of which was displayed in the data room.

The $100m comes from a BPC rns on the 13th January 2016 re Company update. Cost involved in advancing the technical de-risking of its licences.

Nothing like $600m, from the horses mouth they spent in excess of $100m between 2005 and 2015 collecting the data. Since 2015 all the available data has been available to interested parties in the BPC data room.

Realistically I cant see BPC retaining a 50% share with any JV, they would need to raise somewhere between �30 and �40m for an initial drill and I think that is beyond them financially.. I would hope it is possible that the partner will fund the drill for a 75/80% share of the find.

As I have said before I have no faith in the BOD of this company. They seem intent on running it into the ground as they spin one story after another. Looks like the company is on its last legs.

You say not much has changed since 2010 but the number of shares in circulation has almost doubled.

Back to sleep for another year or so. This is going nowhere at the moment, would not surprise me if we get another dilution to raise money in the coming months.

I would think the chances of getting a deal at 50/50 are nil. Whoever the major is they are in the driving seat with the money, a more likely split is 25/75. Remember we are drinking in the last chance saloon.

How often does it have to be spelt out on here that there will be no referendum, the BG have kicked that into touch,
