You state that British companies cannot do business with Evraz eg receive dividends , you seem to be have forgotten or don’t know that this also applies to UK citizens. So as it stands ,holders of paper certs ( I am one) can’t receive dividends either.

If you troll back through the RNS’s you will find the reason for ‘protecting shareholders’ was due the the fact that the majority of brokers were refusing to deal Evraz shares and shareholders at these various brokers were locked in and unable to buy sell , this created an unbalanced market, hence the suspension. The ‘shareholder protection ‘ was not from sanctions or anything else arising from sanctions.

Please explain how the FCA have acted illegally and what laws have been broken. There has been many posters spouting about the legality of these sanctions imposed by various governments, no one has yet to define what laws have been broken.

If after ‘much deliberation’ you’ve decided to take paper certs and you’ve been given a cutoff date of the 12th, why do you need to question whether you can apply after this date . It’s there in black and white , the 12th also the Evraz cutoff date of the 19th.

The easiest option is to convert half your holdings into paper certs then both bases are covered.

Rasp was never removed from the balance sheet

Still got my Evraz shares x 600% of pre war quantity , if they trade again I’ll be loaded but left in the bottom draw for now.

As per my previous comment, HL are providing paper certs for Evraz shares held in my ISA, as of today the shares have been removed from my ISA account.

To receive share certificates shareholders are advised to consult their stockbroker and ensure that proper instructions are given to Computershare prior to the Termination Date.

Not sure if it means that after this date new paper shares will not be available, all about interpretation. Email IR for further info

The cutoff date is the 19th Aug which I assume is the date when transactions need to be completed by.

You need to send a secure message either from the app or web page, normal email won’t work. Simply request your shares are converted to paper certs

I’ve had a response from HL today stating that the shares in my ISA will be converted to paper certs but that they will no longer be eligible for the tax wrapper. The shares in my SIPP cannot be converted to paper certificates and will stay in the current electronic format.

That’s very interesting as Evraz are going through the same process to identify note holders
