Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
I like the post because it raises some interesting and relevant ideas although I didn't agree with the conclusion. The negative predictive value is 100%. So if the test says you haven't got it, you can be certain that you haven't got it. This eliminates 9,980 out of 10,000 candidates but further diagnosis of the ones flagged as positive would have to be done.
Abdalian, thanks for the thought provoking post. If anyone, like me finds the concepts a bit tricky then the following link provides a lot of clarity.

At last some sober replies! I agree that the size of the market may be that there is room for many players and that GDR will most likely get to market before Optigene. However I am minded of the old saying that if you invent a better mousetrap people will beat a path to your door.
What I do object to is the 'echo chamber' mentality where any critical comments are shouted down. We need to be as objective and as truthful as possible because the only people to be deceived are ourselves.
The link given was dated 2 April and details Optigene's technology. The latest tweet on Optigene's account says this :

We're so proud to be trialling a rapid test in our emergency departments & in the community. That we are able to do so is a testament to the hard work and ingenuity of our entire microbiology department."

Far from the trials having failed they are due to complete in the first week in July.
I'm afraid the hysterical, uncritical tone of this bulletin board may cause some people to lose money.
This is the company that Matt Han**** alluded to. It has a twenty minute test that doesn't require a lab. You don't have to send the sample away and the test subject can wait for the result. Why are you not discussing this? If it is approved it will blow GDR away.
I searched hard and long today for discussion of the competition this company faces and found none. The whole world and his dog is trying to crack this problem and all I saw was a lot of excited speculation about the share price.
By the way, before I go - I've got some unique tulip bulbs which I could let you have for a very reasonable price...
It may not be as bad as it looks. The loss of one of the ball mills resulted in a shortfall of 3,870 tons of milled ore in the quarter compared with the quarterly average for 2019. That's roughly 10% and it mostly hits the bottom line.
Thanks for that very informative post. I'm afraid that 99% of it at least, went over my head but the concluding paragraph appears to support SNG's thesis. I'm not betting the farm but I do believe this could be a winner although there are a good many companies after the prize!
I don't know this share but Stockopedia shows it has £170k in the bank but loses £3m-£4m per annum and has been doing so since at least 2013. I would say that at a bare minimum they are going to have to raise more cash.
