More shares bought than sold this morning so drop to 48p doesn't look right... I've picked up another 20,000 shares at 48.2p so thanks very much and you can rise back up to 50p again now! :-)

Q3 RESULTS 2020

I'm back in with £75k's worth but have used the other £40k's worth to buy some shares that hopefully won't stay +/- 2p like AML for the next 3 weeks!

In the interests of full disclosure I sold 220k shares yesterday at 50.38... Have bought back 70k already at low 49s and am waiting for it to drop again to get the rest back but the FOMO is setting in... Risky but, as you say, relieves the boredom a bit!

I think it must be specific to etoro as HL is fine to trade them...

If Wales goes into Lockdown on Friday as widely rumoured surely the SP will dip further with 17 days of no production?

I’m still waiting for someone to tell me how quickly I can get a DBX delivered next year so I can ‘guesstimate’ how many they’ve sold so far. The first one came off the production line a week into July so let’s assume they started building them in anger at the beginning of that month.

Full production capability is 5,000 units per year but their original forecast was 4,000 units for 2021. So full capacity is around 415 units per month but to get to 4,000 it’s 333 per month. I would think they are probably making around 350 per month at the most right now so I’m going to assume that’s the current rate.

Somebody confined on here yesterday that their AM dealership stated a March build date so let’s assume that’s mid March. Mid March is 8.5 months after production started so 8.5 X 350 = 2,975 units built and therefore sold, although some of those will be demo cars that will get sold in the end anyway.

I guess by the time we get to Nov 12 that number might have grown to around 3,500 sold cars (fingers crossed maybe more) which, considering the target for 2021 is 4,000 in total, is pretty damn good!

Not sure what that does to the SP but I think it would be a pretty positive start!

I've just realised that my last post makes me seem like a really good/clever investor but unfortunately I sold those 37,000 @ 45p a couple of days later rather than keeping them until they rose to 80p+ a couple of weeks later... :-((((

Personally drowning in AML shares so need to diversify my portfolio so WHEN the SP spikes in November I'll be selling some and spreading my risk around a bit. However as I've been 'into' AML shares since buying 37,000 @ 36.98p I don't doubt that I'll buy them all back again if the SP drops once more...

I'm confident it will save the day too! I contacted a couple of AM dealerships today and am waiting on them coming back to me tomorrow with lead times for a DBX and deposit details so will be interesting to hear what they have to say... I'm hoping they say that can't get me one before next Summer and need a £25k deposit now! ;-) If they tell me I can have one before Xmas 2020 I think I might start to worry!!

Not that I'm moaning but I think sharing is halving your stress... So, it's official... I am now more in the red than I've ever been (-£16k) but know in a months time it will have all been worth it! ;-)

At least there's been more buys than sells so far today!

Come on... We all know this is going to finish the day back at 50p again! It's almost back to 49p already...

The trouble with that JT is that for those of us who are already 'all in', 48p is hugely frustrating! Not that I'm moaning Holdonam as I'm in this for the long term!

Well at least until Nov 12th! ;-)

I'm failing to understand why Investindustrial wouldn't wait until Nov 12th to sell their remaining shares and get what we all think will be a 50% better price for them? Why would they sell them now at circa 48p when by waiting a month they could get 70p+?
