I’m afraid I’ve sold all mine over the course of the last few days and taken the profit... I’ll be back but see a play with FSJ and a turnaround play with AMGO...
There was a big sell yesterday of around 80,000 shares but then later there were two big buys 0f 70,000 shares each so somebody is moving on it. I think anything under 800 is very cheap for this and will bounce in ton the 9’s very quickly...
Re HL: Spent 50 mins on hold and then gave up but their system was completely buggered this afternoon...! I sold some shares but didn't think the sale registered as my cash balance didn't change so then sold then again... Sold them 8 times before I realised there might be an issue so now my account is showing -7 times the number of shares I sold and +8 time the cash I should have...! Hmmmmmmm
Maybe he did sell his shares because he doesn't believe but we'll never know. I still hold many shares in a business that I ran for 15 years but have sold some since I left and put that money into another PE business that I now run but not because I don't believe in the first business anymore... The most important thing (for me!) is that I got back in today at <6p so looking forward to making some money on this over the next 12 months! :-)
Some people think they know everything when in truth we have no idea why he sold his shares! You can view it as a negative view on Amigo or just treat it as what it is... He sold his shares for his own reasons which we will likely never find out unless he deems to tell us! Not hilarious thaw! Just common sense!
Maybe he has landed himself another job and needs to money to buy shares in his new venture... It doesn't mean it's a negative view on Amigo! Unless he tells us we will never know.
Doesn't change the fact that although the FTSE is up 2%, our AML shares can only manage a disappointing 1.7% increase today after such a cr@p day yesterday... (looks towards ceiling emoji!)
Crank, I can't help thinking that if they don't sell as expected (unlikely) that Stroll will have some of his Billionaire mates lined up ready to step in at 9% anyway so I'm sure it will be fine!
If he doesn't then he risks his own investment in a big way which I can't see happening... ;-)
