Gold price is no more relevant than the price of jelly babies. If you are not producing enough of it at reasonable cost, to cover your out goings, your in trouble at any price. The only thing higher prices does is cover your failings for a little longer. What is relevant is eliminated your continuous failings, otherwise you are going down at any price. Efficiency is what's relevant and will make or break this company, not gold price, and nobody is seeing any efficiency here.

Sorry to go on about it, but this is a company not a single mine, we need to know about the company. They need to tell us how Yan is doing ASAP. Or do they need to avoid like the plague telling us how Yan is doing?

I think Yan is the real story here. Its either making enough so we can survive on one mine for as long as it takes to resolve things ,or it isn't. If it isn't goodbye hummingbird.

quite right nothing about yan. so this being hummingbird i'm assuming they are failing there as well, and some other **** up is taking place. if they are doing ok there, why wouldn't they tell you so under the present circumstances? surely no reason not to give that reassurance if it where possible.

Couldn't agree more. I've been saying for ages, don't invest here at any price. People treat every c ck up in isolation, but as you say its a whole history of c ck ups,with more to come no doubt. The next update from Yan is likely to be another disappointment waiting to happen, with lots of ready made excuses to hand, if they were ever going to run a successful continuously efficient operation they would have done it by now. If you have a very small investment like me,hang on for the fun and kiss your money goodbye, if you have invested heavily here WHY? and why have you not got out with something. It won't last the year and will be worthless if it does.

So who is running yan? Which contractors? Same ones we are in dispute with?

It's always been a very dodgy place here, not the most honest of places. I was here when Yanfolli opened, they ran a draw for two people to go and visit the mine,and guess what? The two biggest rampers on the board won,surprise surprise. Well my conscience is clear, I've reaptedly said don't by these at any price, which wasn't a popular message and got me a lot of stick (he doesn't even hold being the most boring and popular accusation) however I've not spent ages telling everyone how great it is here( and then scappering) encouraging people to part with their hard earned. Those people ought to take a good look at their behaviour. I long ago wrote of my modest investment here, so will stick it out to the bitter end,but that might be close. Don't buy at any price.

So sooner or later we will get an update on Yan, it will either meet expectations or fall short. Which of course this being hummingbird means it will fall short. Then The Publican will come on here and tell us wnworthies who don't understand, that this is good news, not another nail in the coffin.

I'm not seeing any sign of a pre dividend boost here,stubbornly resisting the £2.50s , it ended well last year, but basically it just endlessly does nothing goes nowhere.
