Love all this talk about the new government putting up taxes, of course they will. Just like the Tories have been doing for years, the idea that tax rises are just a labour thing is just ideological nonsense. Its just a case of how and who they tax. It's will of course be a case of those that can afford it most ( shareholders for example) moaning the loudest and having a big voice in the press to help their cause.

This really isn't the place to put a fair amount of your pension. It's a place to have a small punt with any money you can afford to loose.

You could and probably did read exactly the same multi bag nonsense posts this time last year, and I suspect you will probably be reading them next year without the sp being much better than now. If they ever????? start to become a consistently efficient unit it will start to climb,but they have a lot of debts to pay down and a lot of confidence to gain before they start to make real progress, that will take the best part of a year. Stop posting what you would like to happen and take a realistic look at what might happen. Price of gold is irrelevant, lots of efficient miners getting the same price as us,so why invest in an inefficient one?

I think the markets will react well in the morning. Its a clear result, not a faff or a muddle and I think the markets like clarity. How they will react a few months down the line remains to be seen, but a good day in store I think.

Yep you're right I guess my problem is I don't know when to get out. Can't remember the exact figure I bought my shares here, around 270 I think, but they pretty rapidly went well over £3. I didn't take it. My fault, but after the next div, hopefully around a Christmas rally. I'll be off ,and you should have a whip round for me, because they are bound to fly after I leave.

Sorry gentlemen, but if what you are describing is true, then you are just describing another reason not to invest in the markets. I thought it was supposed to be a bit simpler than that. Invest in decent companies, take the ups and downs, pick up the dividend and slowly gain from a blue chip investment. If you need to become a genius busily reading the market. Then give me a solid bank account and premium bonds anyway.

Sad reflection on how uninviting it is to invest in this country nowadays, but yep I already own a few premium bonds and they do better than this and less frustrating, and you never know.

I agree, pick up the next dividend, hope for the same end of year recovery as last year. Then give them up as a bad job, sell and buy some premium bonds.

There isn't a big plus. It's an asset with a fair amount of potential, run by the most inefficient wasters in existence. Its a 50/50 judgment call . There is no big plus. Its just what wins the asset or the incompetence.

You don't half buy the propergande. This mine as been open over a year and still isn't at nameplate. What's rapid about that?

According to our site know it Bushy a big tick up is coming. It isn't not for a good while. Two reasons, 1 Bushy despite his know all arrogance never gets anything right, and secondly and more importantly, they have only just put out figures showing they are still inefficient, until they have consistent efficiency this won't move. You can forget about gold price and everything else. Efficiency is all.

Those odds where pretty high here this time last year Chris,but the effortlessly managed to feck up, an ability they will always retain unfortunately. I wouldn't invest another penny here ever,whatever the gold price.

This mine opened over a year ago and still producing tiddling amounts. That's not a ramp up,it's a c ck up. Let's see what the markets think of it despite the price of gold.
