Not sure about this. Firm experienced but some of their clients have not done well recently e.g. Vast and Angus. Is it to facilitate further fund raising?

As stated in trading update, results are due in three weeks. The business is in better shape with greatly reduced debt and a strong order book. Hopefully the business fundamentals will support a sustained higher SP.

but somehow it seems "jam tomorrow". When will significant developments actually take place as seem some way off (2 years or so) in China and Indonesia with below expectations production in USA. Income is needed to avoid further fund raising so hopefully USA production will increase. The issue for many IIs like me is that there are nearer term opportunities elsewhere so we sell part or all of holdings knowing that we can get back in at a lower or still attractive price in 12 months time. There is little to gain from holding a large number of shares. I have reduced my holding to 60k and put in i3 mainly because developments are imminent.

Down again after yesterday's rise - nothing new or unexpected! A few sells or buys disproportionately affects the SP. With so much to come this should be a very good opportunity. The news on Cluff today confirms the majors are interested in the area and FO news on i3 is expected this month with much nearer term drilling (June 2019) than Cluff.

Holding via HL but I am not expecting today. Dividends seem to take a few days from payment date to arrive in individual accounts.

After the good news on Italy, an update on Romania would help support SP rise. It is nearly five months since the experimental production started so something ought to be happening. Mcap of less than £4m means material potential if both projects really started producing to help support the big one in Spain.

Communication with shareholders is intermittent at best and with info this year mainly via Proactive Investors. Surely something on the company website would be more meaningful and respectful for shareholders. My holding is not huge so its been in the limbo box since May. Anyway the update is welcome, thank you and see what happens in Q1 and the commitment to trading again on AIM. If it turns out well it will be a pleasant surprise!

Patience required. Dividend announcement refers to The Board's expectation of reaching FID on Etinde in the short to medium term, triggering a payment of $25 million from JV partners but the "short to medium" could mean days or months. Interesting to see what happens at the end of the week when 15p dividend is due to be paid as it may take longer to be received into individual accounts.

More good news but still no concrete information on value of these deals. LG looks big but how important is this latest agreement? I guess it may be some time before information becomes available in financial statements with revenue received.

ZEN providing regular news and a lot is planned for 2019. Good they own the equipment which gives control and saves time and expenses if the drilling programme is continuous to exploit potential. Target for 1000 bopd by the end of the year does not seem too optimistic. Just hope the time frames for drilling are sensible and achievable.

BLOE and ZEN are undertaking a lot of drilling activity this year. Both have similar Mcap and SP. I hold in both and it will be interesting to see which company end 2019 with the highest production. ZEN are looking for 1000 bopd. Not yet sure what BLOE will be (net). Both have a lot of potential so I will keep and add according to progress.

Heading in RNS mentions BNG operational update but lacks detail.

Update provides a good summary of what has been achieved and with more to come in 2019. Significant upfront payment from LG should ensure the funding going forward. The potential is great and the value of the Affirmer deals is increasing with each one so the value of the company should rise too. A gradual increase in SP would be welcome and hopefully not the volatility.

The main reason why SP has not risen more might be lack of details on production levels and the revenue expected in 2019 for HNR. This is critical to understanding potential and funding of other development projects. Still an encouraging start to the year.

ST article makes me feel wary to invest more. RNS does not reassure me greatly and could have been more carefully worded. On too many occasions press speculation has had an element of truth and on too many occasions fund raising has had a significant knock to SP e.g. latest on AAOG a different proposition but still a short-term decline. I haven't sold any PMO but I am not buying more either until confidence returns.

2018 update should be out later this month if similar timescales to last time. 2017 update was issued on 16 January 2018.

Drop back today probably due to profit taking after recent rise. It is not known what period the LG deal would earn $180m but if 10 years that is £14m per year on top of any additional milestone payments and other agreements. It would be helpful to know what earnings the company expect to achieve but this may have to wait results announcement. There seem to be more licencing deals in the pipeline so more news soon hopefully.

Still not sure why? Possibly large investors are deterred by relatively small size of the company or the large AA holding. RRE's SP has not increased to the same extent as PMO which unlike debt free RRE has significant debts. Interesting to see update on i3 Energy which mentions Tain discovery.

Thanks for posting the Broker's note which suggests very positive prospects for the additional areas. Interesting to see reference to RockRose and their interest in Tain. Their SP increased dramatically last year, which indicates what might happen if there is success for i3. Also RRE is generating a lot of cash which most likely will be used to expand. Many reasons to be optimistic. The challenge will be for the Board to deliver on the their actions and timescales.
