A number of large Pharmaceutical Companies are facing a patent cliff as blockbusters lose their patented status. Some of these Companies are looking to acquire assets and/or stakes in smaller Biotechs in order to fill that gap:-

Application has been made for the 1,498,685 New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"), and dealings are expected to commence on or around 5 June 2020. The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares.

When the first NDA was approved I was in HK at the time, within sight of the old HWL building..... from memory that day the share price dropped by about 5% so nothing surprises me.

I think the only think the market cares about is when the company's revs ramp up and also when they become cashflo w positive. Maybe we are also suffering from some institutions offloading their NASDAQ stock - there's currently high volume traded today.

to clarify, the article does go on to say only those Companies who do not use global accounting standards or refuse to have their audits inspected by U.S. Regulators would be de-listed, so we have nothing to fear in that regard ;o-)

My understanding is that there is a large distribution network controlled by a few key players and Hospitals, physicians, Insurers and major pharmacies such as CVS. Walgreens ans Walmart source their drugs from these distributors. The Pharmacy Companies promote, advertise and details their drugs via large sales networks, so I suppose it is the latter that would need a partner.

I think the most pressing thing is the Trump China bill. The Times article today suggests the bill currently has a 60% chance of passing into Law and will not only ban Chinese companies from future listings, it will also de-list all existing China Companies. I assume this includes ADR programs. Th article states most of these will move to either HK or London.

Great news today, Fast Track NDA for Surufatinib using the Rolling submission process. Surufatinib has forecast annual peak sales of $597 outside China.

Appointment of Broker

Tiziana Life Sciences plc (AIM:TILS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Optiva Securities Limited as its broker with immediate effect.

They presented 2 abstracts as poster sessions and 2 as e-abstract. The StemprintER poster was selected for discussion, which is the way these poster sessions work. A panel selects a small number of the most interesting/important/ground breaking to effectively go through to the next round eg. a panel discussion. I've not seen any specific commentary.

my point is an ADR price of $25 is not equivalent to an OS price of £5, currently. If the exchange rate changes significantly then it may be, but not at the moment.

I am not sure where they get an ADR conversion from $25 to £5 because Ram Selvaraju has issued a target on the ADR's
$25 div by 5 = £5
£5 div by USD/GBP 1.23 = £4.06
