with regards to the market response, if this were a small Biotech the response would probably be significant, but history shows this probably won't even register. The London share price is exactly where it was 3 years ago despite all the huge progress and achievements by the Company. Whilst one could argue it was over-valued then it seems under-valued now. Hopefully when we become cash generative in 2023/2024 the market may then pay attention.

I wouldn't disagree with that, it's just a pity the London market cannot value a fast growing unprofitable (currently) Biotech firms correctly and the UK doesn't have the pool of specialist Biotech Investors like the United States does.

I will be repeating my HCM growth with TILS, with an exit timeline of around 2030-2032 but expect assets to be sold and/or the Company to be acquired before then, but I'll be happy to hold if it is not.

I invested in HCM @ 14p per share in 2008, they are now 355p which is a twenty five fold increase over 12 years. Their pipeline was a similar size to Tiziana's now, and their mcap was similar. This is a great example of how a fledgling Biotech can grown with the right management, pipeline and strategy. I am happy to hold Tiziana for a similar length of time. See you all at circa £3.5bn mcap.

I do not think StemPrinER will be spun off personally. The publicity and the coverage next week at ASCO will attract enough attention from bigger specialist diagnostics players and one of them will probably acquire it before Tiziana have completed the process. It needs a player with the right resources to get it out into the Oncology marketplace.

For ya'll who are unaware, Monday is also a public holiday in the United States - memorial day eg. a day when Americans hit the shops which I witnessed many times when I lived there over the years. Plenty of time for them to digest today's news prior to the ASCO virtual conference next Friday thru Sunday

indeed! just to be very clear, the record date cannot be prior to today!!! Recent new Shareholders need to stop panicking, and as JH says, the actual Record Date when Shareholders need to be on the Register will actually be a future date, so load up people ;o-)

I suspect today's announcement has been done to raise the profile of StemPrintER™ but the spin-off may possibly not happen, if the asset is as good as the Company says it is, it'll be snapped up by a Company like Astellas in short order

The spinoff makes perfect sense, Tiziana is a drug development company and StemPrintER™ is a diagnostic test so will fit better within a Company's diagnostic portfolio

yes, the anti-china sentiment will hurt all China related Companies with a U.S. listing, even if they adhere to GAAP international accounting standards and Audits, as we do. At least we have enough cash for the next year or two, plus a potential asset sale, although a large molecule acquisition could mean we need to raise funds and the only realistic avenue I see for that is HK.

Trump stated back in November he wanted to do exactly that until various parties told him it would punish U.S. Investors. I just think the Americans will make the regulatory landscape hard and difficult, even for follow-on offerings, and even for Companies with high corporate governance and accounting standards, such as Chi-Med. It does seem as though the appetite for a HK listing at some point s now more appealing.

That said, we have some exciting events coming our way any day now, including 2 x NDA's!!!
