I agree with him, 20 times would make Chi_Med the size of Jiangsu Hengrui, but 5 - 10 fold is achievable in the next 10 years IMO, if the pipeline does not have too many disappointments, based on forecast revs, earnings etc

it certainly tempted me (again), the market is currently valuing the Company at around the rNPV of the Innovation platform only, the CP is currently effectively free

The ironic thing is that Chinese drugs and other pharmaceutical products are exempt from import tariffs and that is planned to remain the case

20% off in 1 month is interesting...........can this all be due to President Trumps trade war with China? All the markets are down and I can't see any reason other than the trade war

As someone who has been invested and continually buying for 10 years Iam probably least qualified to answer the question on entry point, but It really dependant on your investment timescales. I like Buffet’s phrase that it is better to pay a fair price for a great company than a great price for a fair company. A 10% reduction in the share price due to external factors is largely irrelevant to me

With Chi-Med it’s all about the late stage pipeline and bringing these first and best-in-class assets to market. The Company has a wonderful track record of building shareholder value and will continue to do so in my view.
