Here is an extract from yesterday's Q1 Financial information, which may have prompted the ADR price fall

"In 2015, Hutchison Sinopharm began distributing and marketing AstraZeneca’s quetiapine tablets, under the Seroquel trademark in China. In June 2018, AstraZeneca sold and licensed its rights to Seroquelto Luye Pharma Group, Ltd., including its rights in China. The terms of our agreement with AstraZeneca
were assigned to Luye Pharma Hong Kong Ltd. (‘‘Luye HK’’). In May 2019, we received a notice from Luye HK purporting to terminate our agreement. We believe that they have no basis for termination and intend to vigorously enforce our rights under the current agreement. As a result of the foregoing purported termination, we are no longer providing marketing and distribution services in respect of Seroquel. We cannot be certain as to the outcome of this dispute or on our ability to resume marketing and distribution services for Seroquel in the future."

I don't usually comment on the technicals of the share price but the spread at 8% seems rather ridiculous

I agree. I have often wondered whether the Company would do a Beigene-Celgene type deal for in-licensing a U.S Company's portfolio who do not have a local presence, or performing the sales, marketing and distribution function only. That said, the Company has said they are open to deals, although I suspect they have a laser focus on bringing the in-house candidates to the market rather than being distracted by other things.

I haven't paid stamp duty on any of my HCM purchases since July 2014 when it was removed for AIM listed shares so I think you will find ADR's on NASDAQ are not treated as a separate listing. This may change after the Hang Seng IPO.

Sally, no, I did not, as I assumed it would be a short meeting, which it clearly was. I was also traveling in Europe today.

There is a nice article by Anthony Hilton in today's London Evening Standard.

I will post the link tomorrow. He is and always has been very positive on the Company and its prospects.

Interestingly he points to a "ShK inhibitor" for MS although I assume that is actually the 523 syk inhibitor!
