Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
This is a reasonable appraisal of the Fluorspar market and prospects: https://roskill.com/market-report/fluorspar/
Any costing of fluorspar is complex subject due to the fact that it is a key constituent to the electrolyte mix in Li-ion batteries. Commodity prices in general are fluctuating wildly at the moment, but battery constituents are rising in price in general.
No news yet but assay results can be expected within a week or so. There was no firm deadline mentioned on results. The next drilling operations RNS, if at all positive, should boost the SP, but the drilling started before expected. They could be waiting for data from more than one drillhole. Shareholders have been given very little info on the drill programme, but better for a company to compile info sufficient to comply with the rules for RNS's, especially when providing ore reserve info is likely. That is sensitive.
looks like MM's setting up some shorts and generally messing about with the sp to try to give some people the jitters. Nothing very unusual for AIM.
Maybe day traders need a dump at the end of the week?
The geology of the Nevada gold deposit consists of two zones flanking a 15-20 metre thick dyke. These zones are mineralised halos around the dyke. It sounds like grade control in a possible future mine could be done potentially without having to rely heavily on assay results, since both flanks of the dyke in the original borehole in 1989 are mineralised and contain significant gold values. It makes the drilling targets easier to identify and suggests that the geologist will have a good idea, from the more recent hole, where to drill the next one. A few results like the original one and this becomes a mineable zone, over 20 metres in width. The drill is on site and in the state of Nevada, Mining is considered an essential business with respect to Covid-19 concerns. Assay results should be available by the end of this month. Further drilling should start to outline reserves within weeks. Will the company be able to cash in on next year’s anticipated increase in the gold price?
Speculation is shallow IMO and not what should be going on here. A find with assosiated VG (visible gold) in Nevada mining country is better than speculative. It should be more than just a good day on the stockmarket. I am guessing that was the reason for the spike in the SP a few weeks ago ( up to 0.8p?) it looks like they must have something here.
A value of 18g/t is very high and it is over a few metres width, but there was visible gold, free gold observed in the original intersection sample, so that supports the assay value to some extent. If there is proven continuity to this zone of mineralisation, there are likely to be other high anomalies. That is the nature of gold deposits in this type of mineralisation scenario. Also, it must be mentioned that there was significant silver found in the first hole, with a silver:gold ratio which was good. DYOR, it is there to see on the tertiary minerals website.
There are two main methods commonly used for assaying gold samples but the fire assay used to be the best and most reliable. It only takes a day or so to get the result, but that was where we had a dedicated lab on the mine site in less troubled times. They will want to do check assays on the best results too, so make that at least two or three days. Let’s guess at the middle of next week. By the end of next week they should have a report ready. Then it will help the geologist decide the optimum position of the next borehole(s). My guess is they will have the drilling started on the next one if there was encouraging mineralisation found in this one. Lots of fun.
Splitting the core is a process used to allow geologists to revisit the rock record to compare with interesting intersections of mineralised material in the next holes in the programme. It allows half of the material to be destructively analysed over a section carrying significant values. Even without any statements on what has already been seen and found, I would expect splitting to make it more likely that something of interest has been intersected. This is encouraging in itself.
I am a geologist with gold mining and exploration experience. Following up an existing hole with a second one after the first one hit visible gold and encouraging assay results is always exciting. Any gold, silver, and base metal assays at all which correlate along strike or up and down dip of the first result will automatically yield drill- inferred ore reserves. The share price has every reason to rocket on this news. Clemmey is a smart man with knowledge. Tertiary Minerals looks a like a buy. I have to wonder how many more confirmatory drill holes are planned...
Lots of action this morning, buyers having fun and shorts are burning up like paper lanterns. Burn baby burn!
Don’t lose heart friends. Don’t lose faith. This looks worthless and hopeless. On paper it is worth nothing. BUT the oil and gas is in the ground under block 12. The time will come when it is valuable again. Not sooner, but later, for sure. The term LONG term holder means more now. Also the term “No loss till sell.” Is particularly relevant.
Yes gold. Also there will be significant silver, because other veins in this mineralisation system have a significant gold to silver ratio. One of them had a 1:10 ratio, which is good enough. The best had a ratio of 1:100. Take a look at the website assays. DYOR. Looking forward to seeing what the next drilling results and assays confirm.
There is something worthy of attention here. I noticed the odour of fish. Sharks attracted to something of value. These sharks are not long. They are short. They are driven by fear, they feed off fear, so they post their rubbish bait when they smell value. Best form of shark repellant I know is buys. Buy buy little short sharks, soon. Do I smell shorts burning?
....and another thing: The associated mineralisation with the Ruth vein system that this prospect trends with includes good gold to silver ratios. Even when the gold is not visible, the associated mineralisation is identifiable in the form of minerals that geologists can readily identify. Barite, sphalerite, acanthite and cassiterite. All good indicators.
I am a new investor in this stock because I have a fair bit of gold mining and exploration geology experience with similar types of deposits. I have looked at the information available and I liked what I saw. There is a similar mineralisation strike trend found in nearby mines in the region, there is a reasonable drill-indicated grade, and most interesting, visible gold was reported. I have put my money where my mouth is and waiting to see what they do next. If they can correlate the intersection with new information from upcoming drilling and sampling plans, there could be a new mine in the making.
LTH re-evaluation time for me and maybe a few others after one year delisted. Keeping the faith is hopefully going to be rewarded. I am reminding myself of the reasons why I invested in the first place and why I remain optimistic. As a geologist, the main reason is my confidence with what is in the ground. Several oil wells in the highly prospective Georgian Kura basin that yielded unwanted gas to the unsophisticated soviets of the previous century were re-entered by Frontera operators with encouraging results. The previously unwanted gas is now at a premium and fracking yields oil for FRR that the Ruskies previously did not have the technology to exploit. Our limited success revealed enough potential to attract super majors, and in this dog eat dog world, a scramble to reap the benefits ensued. Legal challenges, dirty dealings, doubts over how to leave debt behind. All this frustrating activity continues to highlight that what we are sitting on is a veritable mud volcano. Underneath mud volcanoes, large gas and oil plays are common, from BP’s huge discovery under the Caspian across Azerbaijan into our block 12 of southeastern Georgia. Hold fast and look to Christmas future, Christmas carol fans. Reasons to be cheerful, for this geologist, anyway.
Graphene is now the 15 year old teenage prince of materials and the birthday was celebrated at the Royal society last month. Versarien is showing the world its potential and how it will rule the materials world in the decades to come. Happy to hold.

Ah Coggy, whenever there is a significant event in the oil and gas industry, FRR finds a way to file some sort of new court case. A bombed Aramco refinery equates to some sort of “opportunity” for FRR, confiscated oil tankers en route to try to break sanctions: another opportunity to Sue. War with Iran? Yet another opportunity!
